About tinyblu Many of us are so focused on being productive, that we leave no time for ourselves, our friends, and our loved ones. In the little spare time that we have, our technology bombards us with entertainment, keeping us glued to our gadgets and making us feel even more disconnected. At tinyblu, we believe that happiness comes from a feeling of genuine connection to other people. A million first steps We have released over a million images onto Flickr Commons for anyone to use, remix and repurpose. These images were taken from the pages of 17th, 18th and 19th century books digitised by Microsoft who then generously gifted the scanned images to us, allowing us to release them back into the Public Domain. The images themselves cover a startling mix of subjects: There are maps, geological diagrams, beautiful illustrations, comical satire, illuminated and decorative letters, colourful illustrations, landscapes, wall-paintings and so much more that even we are not aware of. Which brings me to the point of this release. We are looking for new, inventive ways to navigate, find and display these 'unseen illustrations'. The images were plucked from the pages as part of the 'Mechanical Curator', a creation of the British Library Labs project.

Mitch Landrieu Reminds Us That Eloquence Still Exists - NYTimes.com But his speech: wow. He spent his energy not on vilifying anyone but on stating in the least hysterical, most persuasive manner possible what’s right and what’s wrong. He didn’t talk in terms of Democrats and Republicans. He didn’t mention any political party, period. Predictably (and justly), he invoked the Rev. Dr.

Three hundred miles long, seven hundred feet high, and built of ice blocks, it is here that the Night Watch hold the line against the ‘wildings’ that lie beyond and whisper rumours of the undead White Walkers. The viewers know by now that these super-zombies exist, that the wall has been breached, and “winter is coming”.
