Kinko White Second only to A Tale of Two Cities, The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien is the second best selling novel ever written. The popularity of this amazing fairy tale and its predecessor The Hobbit, along with the screen adaptations and action figures has brought about some amazing fan art, like the paintings featured here by deviantARTist Kinko-White. Ink, Tea & Alcohol by Carne Griffiths Carne Griffiths’ artwork is born from a love of drawing and the journey of creating an image on the page. Working primarily with calligraphy ink, graphite and liquids, such as tea brandy, vodka and whisky he draws and then manipulates the drawn line. After graduating from Maidstone college of art Carne served an apprenticeship and worked as a gold wire embroidery designer for 12 years, hence floral pattern, repetition and flow play a large part in his work. Alex Russell Flint Madeline von Foerster by okmarzo April 21, 2014 "Executed in the oil and egg tempera mische technique developed by the Flemish Masters, these paintings allude to Renaissance sources in both method and style. Oil Finger Paintings by Iris Scott One day while completing an oil painting of a field artist Iris Scott needed to make a few quick adjustments to some yellow flowers but every brush at her disposal was stained a deep dark blue. Not wanting to stop and wash the brushes she decided to make a few quick touchups with her fingers, a small change to her process that would immediately change the course of her career. Wearing a pair of surgical gloves Scott now paints exclusively with her fingers bringing an impressionistic sense of color and texture to all of her paintings. unurth | street art Matheus Lopes Manifesto, traditional art, mixed media Building a galaxy, digital art, mixed media Alternate ending, digital art, mixed media Ace of Wands, digital art, mixed media In Between, digital art, mixed media A way out, digital art, mixed media Suspense, digital art, mixed media Thousand eyes, digital art, mixed media About The Artist Matheus Lopes is a young illustrator from Brazil.
