Cecilia

Spain Settlers have migrated to Spain from Europe, Africa, and the Mediterranean since the dawn of history. The Phoenicians, who came in the 8th century B.C., called the peninsula "Span," or hidden land. By the first century B.C. the Romans had conquered Spain. Spain became mostly Christian under the Romans, who were followed by the Vandals and the Visigoths, Germanic peoples from Europe. Islamic culture spread across Spain as Muslim rulers introduced new crops and irrigation systems, and trading increased. In 1492 Christian kingdoms in northern Spain conquered the Muslims and spread the Catholic religion. More than 500,000 people died in the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s.

There are two different ways to play. In the Tournament Spelling Bee, you'll be challenged by a series of words, with the spelling difficulty adapted to your skill level. The more words you get right, the higher your score will go, on a scale from 200 to 800. You can compete against other spellers, since we keep track of high scores (with streaks of correct answers serving as tiebreakers). You can also try a Community Spelling Bee generated from one of our subscribers' word lists. How does the Visual Thesaurus Spelling Bee work? Each turn, you'll hear the recording of the word and see its definition (with words suitably omitted that might give away the correct spelling). In the Tournament Spelling Bee, the more words you get right, the higher your score will go. If you play a Community Spelling Bee, the words from the selected word list are presented in random order. What happens if I misspell a word?
Best Music to Learn English | EASY ENGLISH ARTICLES Here are my top 5 music artists that English students should listen to. Check out his song Listen to the Man on Youtube. 2) Bruno Mars Bruno Mars is an American singer who was born in Hawaii. ESL Grammar www.EFLSensei.com ESL Grammar Activities are a great way for your students to use English while reinforcing correct grammar use. Jump to ESL Grammar Activities Students get bored when they are simply sitting and taking notes. Worksheets offer a bit more excitement, but fill-in-the-blank and cloze exercises don't allow for "real" communication. These activities help students feel more comfortable with using English in a "real" setting and actually communicate with each other using the target language. Handouts, Conversation Cards, and Game Boards are included with many of our activities. Recommendation: Put the grammar point on the board and pre-teach as necessary.
