Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Popper Stuffed Chicken Today is Cinco de Mayo and I wanted to take the opportunity to update one of my favourite recipes, this bacon wrapped jalapeno popper stuffed chicken with some new photos! The basic idea was to stuff chicken with all of the flavours of jalapeno poppers and then to wrap them in bacon and grill, fry or bake them. Jalapeno poppers are commonly filled with cream cheese and/or cheddar cheese and they are either coated in bread crumbs and fried until crispy or wrapped in bacon and grilled or baked until the bacon is cooked. I like a simple mixture of cream cheese, cheddar or monterey jack cheese and diced jalapeno peppers for the filling and the jalapenos can be roasted, fresh or even pickled. The original shot from 2012: Crispy bacon! Mmmmm... ooey, gooey melted cheese! Get ALL 8 Closet Cooking eCookbooks in a bundle for 60% off! 30 Foods You'll Never Have To Buy Again Why Grains Are Unhealthy I find that grain bashing makes for a tasty, but ultimately unsatisfying meal. You all know how much I love doing it, though. But no matter how often I sit down to dine on the stuff (and I’ve done it with great gusto in the past), I always leave the table feeling like I left something behind. Like maybe I wasn’t harsh enough about the danger of gluten, or I failed to really convey just how much I hated lectins. Well, I’ve got the hunger today, and this time I aim to stuff myself to the point of perpetual sickness. So please, bear with me. Apart from maintaining social conventions in certain situations and obtaining cheap sugar calories, there is absolutely no reason to eat grains. “You need the fiber!” Okay, for one: no, I don’t. Somehow, I’m not convinced that a massive daily infusion of insoluble grain fiber is all that essential. “You need the vitamins and minerals!” You got me. “But it forms the foundation of the governmental food pyramid!” Toxic anti-nutrients? Lectins are bad.

Gnocchi Mac n' Cheese This takes comfort food to a whole new level…wow. I thought I was in love with Buffalo Chicken Macaroni and Cheese and then I was smitten with Ranch Mac and Cheese. But this dish…oh my goodness this is the one.The best mac n’ cheese I have ever had. The little gnocchi make this dish so light and airy and puffy….it’s just….well, there are no words. While making homemade gnocchi is on my culinary bucket list, I used good quality purchased gnocchi for this dishand it was still out of this world. You just have to try it, you must!!! We can’t wait to have this again. Preheat oven to 375o F. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Combine Gruyere and fontina, then add by the handful to milk mixture, stirring until melted before adding the next handful. Pour sauce over gnocchi and sprinkle with Parmigiano-Reggiano over top. Bake gnocchi until they puff and cheese is golden and bubbly, about 25 minutes. Let gnocchi rest for 5 minutes before serving. Print Recipe Ingredients Directions

Why Can Some People Eat Anything They Want and Never Gain a Pound? Welcome! If you want to lose weight, gain muscle, increase energy levels or just generally look and feel healthier you've come to the right place. Here's where to start: Visit the Start Here and Primal Blueprint 101 pages to learn more about the Primal Lifestyle. Thanks for visiting! The following are both actual and paraphrased versions of questions I regularly get from readers: If grains are so bad how can you explain the leanness and good health of Clarence Bass? How is it that this guy can eat 30 bananas a day and not gain weight, or this guy can eat nothing but potatoes for 60 days and lose 20 pounds? How do the Kitavans or Okinawans maintain good body composition despite a higher carb diet? Mark, how were you able to maintain a low body fat percentage despite eating a half gallon of ice cream a day? Why can my brother eat anything he wants and never gain a pound? All of these examples seem contrary to what we say in the Primal Blueprint. Of course, genetics has a lot to do with it.

Mini Ham & Cheese Quinoa Cups Mini Ham and Cheese Quinoa Cups are poppable, gluten-free, and packed with protein. The perfect breakfast or snack! I had this whole spiel ready about how real men do, in fact, eat quiche, as demonstrated by Ben who housed nearly a dozen Mini Ham and Cheese Quinoa Cups that resemble wee baby quiche for dinner, but then I remembered that quiche have crust and Mini Ham and Cheese Quinoa Cups do not, so in reality they’re more like mini frittatas and well, all was tragically lost. Ok, let me explain. First of all, Mini Ham and Cheese Quinoa Cups might be my new favorite thing on the planet. I may or may not have squealed with delight when they came out of the oven. They’re basically mini frittatas containing eggs, egg whites, cooked quinoa, shredded zucchini, cheddar cheese, and diced ham, but I couldn’t name them Mini Ham and Cheese Frittatas because Ben won’t knowingly eat frittatas. Are you still reading? Plus, they’re so versatile. Plus they take no time at all to make. Mix. Description
