Man Cave “For 10 years I was dreaming about it, for five years I was looking for a spot for it, for two years working on it, for another two years building it, and finally here it is,” said Alexandre de Betak in an interview with T Magazine about his new home located in a small coastal village in the Tramuntana region of Majorca. He is very much inspired by 70′s architecture, probably because that is what he grew up with. 42 year-old Betak is a renowned events producer, art director and designer whose work includes fashion shows and extravaganzas for clients from Dior to Rodarte to Tiffany. Top 100 Best Acoustic Songs Ever -The Greatest of All Time Here is a list of the best acoustic songs ever written. Acoustic music has come a long way over the years, so many are “oldies” and many are “newies.” We are basing this list off of historical album sales, the ever so objective factor of acoustic-ness, but mostly how easily they make us cry. 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die is a musical reference book edited by Robert Dimery, first published in 2005. 150 Best Tracks Of The Past 15 Years Released: July 2006 It’s all in the way she tells it. No-one else could simultaneously sound as world-weary and mischievous as Lily Allen delivering that line about her emotionally-retarded ex "fucking the girl next door…what d’you do that for?". In those ten-and-a-half words alone an exasperated modern female icon was born, bloomed and was shortly after hounded into an early retirement. Lily always said she’d made the ‘Alright, Still’ album for a laugh and that we were lucky even to get a follow-up, but that doesn’t stop ‘Smile’ being one of those perfect storms in pop music when a song, an attitude and an unlikely star (in this case Harry Enfield’s gobby step-daughter) collide to create what is commonly known as a bit of a moment. Fascinating Lamps by Calabarte Calabarte is the pseudonym of a Polish artist named Przemek Krawczynski, whose art takes on a peculiar but incredibly beautiful form: cool lamps. The name itself is a portmanteau of two words – art (obviously), and calabash, the fruit that carries his imagination. The calabash is a bottle gourd originating in India, although Calabarte gets his supply from Senegal.
