THÉO GOSSELIN Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec Design I'm Google I’m Google is an ongoing tumblr blog in which batches of images and videos that I cull from the internet are compiled into a long stream-of-consciousness. Both the searching and arranging processes are done manually. The batches move seamlessly from one subject to the next based on similarities in form, composition, color, and theme. This results visually in a colorful grid that slowly changes as the viewer scrolls through it. The blog came out of my natural tendency to spend long hours obsessing over Google Image searches, collecting photos I found beautiful and storing them by theme. I feel that my experience wandering through Google Image Search and YouTube hunting for obscure information and encountering unexpected results is a very common one. Just wanted to add a note on how I make this blog, as I have seen people wonder the same couple things frequently. Firstly, lots of people ask if it's a algorithm or something. Su difusor, es la única pieza visible de esta lámpara, un vidrio opal soplado y con forma de bola, que se apoya en una base de acero inoxidable lacado, casi imperceptible. La Glo-ball, crea una luz uniforme de casi 360º, una luz sin impurezas, delicada pero intensa, capaz de dar vida a cualquier rincón de nuestro hogar, y crear lugares únicos. La familia de esta luminaria es muy extensa; existen diferentes diámetros, e incluso versiones como; lámpara de pie, con diferentes alturas y diámetros, o de sobremesa, pasando por plafones o lámparas de suspensión. Choc ! Ces photographies sont extraites de Carambolage, dont la version française vient de paraître aux éditions Steidl. Elles ont été prises en Suisse, dans le canton de Nidwald, où est né Arnold Odermatt, le 29 mai 1925, et où il a travaillé de 1948 à 1990. Il était policier. Et photographe amateur. Cela explique qu’au-delà de la nécessité de documenter les faits, ces photographies traduisent une intuition de la mise en scène et une atmosphère très particulière. On ne voit que les traces de l’accident, même si le bruit hante certains lieux, tôles froissées, poteaux torsadés, crissements des pneus. Trop d’alcool, de drogues… Odermatt a restitué plusieurs niveaux de réalité, comme s’il avait été le témoin de toute la séquence et qu’il avait choisi de n’en dévoiler que la fin. What Gemini has captured is nothing short of poetry in motion: the colorful and dramatic tale of a life-and-death struggle between two galaxies interacting. All the action appears in a single frame, with the stunning polar-ring galaxy NGC 660 as the focus of attention. Polar-ring galaxies are peculiar objects. L’artiste a photographié les bagnoles, ces splendeurs que sont les Rolls-Royce Phantom, les Aston Martin, les motos (en particulier les Cagiva).
