Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Children’s Home + Aid! Every day volunteers support Children’s Home + Aid’s mission – to give children help, hope and opportunity. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available from weekly to once a month to a one-time event or activity. Volunteers are placed in positions based on interest, need, skills, location and availability. Whether reading stories to a classroom at our Child + Family Centers, playing catch with a foster child, helping a child with homework, or providing support to our office staff, volunteers make a difference in the lives of children and families. Chicago Children's Advocacy Center Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center offers a limited number of internship opportunities in the following program areas: Family Advocacy, PATHH, Mental Health and Child Life. Undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing careers in social work, psychology or related fields are provided supervision and training in their respective fields by staff at ChicagoCAC and are able to participate in clinical trainings.
