Angkor Photo Festival | Official WebsiteAngkor Photo Festival Willkommen beim FOTOSOMMER Stuttgart Home About the Festival « Fotograf Festival 2014 # Vidět a věřit / Seeing is Believing In October 2014, Prague will host the fourth edition of the international Fotograf Festival, this time with the motto seeing is believing. The main theme of the festival for 2014 is the imaginary space behind the looking glass, addressing phenomena which exist on the border of scientific comprehension and beyond. In this regard, photography becomes the medium, the document, the testimony and even the body of evidence in the case of paranormal phenomena, spiritism, decadence, mental photography and so on. We tend to read the image recorded by photography as a mirror of reality. Each year, Fotograf Festival ranks among the seminal visual arts events on the Czech scene. Every year, the accompanying program reflects the chosen theme. The festival is organized by the non-profit organization Fotograf 07 o.s., under the auspice of the City of Prague and the support of the Czech Ministry of Culture.
