Update Portable Firefox the Easy Way Have you been enjoying all the goodness of portable Firefox, but find updating it to the newest version a problem? Now you can update your portable browser as easily as your regular install of Firefox. Note: This method is for use with the portable versions available from John T. Haller/portableapps.com. First things first, you will need to download the regular .exe file from Mozilla. Once you have that, it is time to get started. Installation Double click the .exe file to get the install process started and click “Next”. Once the second window appears, you will need to select “Custom” and deselect “Use Firefox as my default browser”. The third window will show the default install location for Firefox. Once you locate your portable browser’s home folder, you will need to browse deeper into it to find the location to install to (here the home folder is named Portable Firefox and is located in Program Files). The final install path is “C:\Program Files\Portable Firefox\App\Firefox\”.

6 Reasons Companies are Still Scared of Social Media 1- Employees will waste time with social media. Many large corporations block their employees from accessing the Internet altogether. Others try to block employees from accessing personal email or social networks like Facebook during work hours. In May, 2009, according to emarketer, there were 29 million smartphones in the United States. That's a lot of Internet access available to workers everywhere - and employers can't stop us from accessing the Internet - on breaks, at lunch, in the bathroom, you name it. The value to workers of having Internet access - in terms of research, communication, and speed - is far greater than the threat of lost productivity. 2- Haters will damage our brand. Well, there may be things you need to change about your brand, and in that case, you should thank them for letting you know what they are. If you have built an online community that includes people who don't hate you, that community will rise to your defense and they will handle the problem for you.
