Programming Collective Intelligence Subscriber Reviews Average Rating: Based on 8 Ratings "Useful book on machine learning, etc." - by Alex Ott on 20-JUL-2011Reviewer Rating: Very good introduction into machine-learning, information retrieval & data mining related questions. "A 'Hands On' book on Artificial Intelligence" - by Tushar Goswami on 14-MAR-2011Reviewer Rating: After digesting some half a dozen books over the past few years on AI & NLP, I have had enough of 'theoretical' & 'over detailed description' of AI fundamentals & algorithms. But its not the copy-pastable code alone, the Chapter 12 which gives a Black-&-White comparison of AI algorithms comes handy when you want to measure the shortcomings & strengths of various algorithms (by the way, you may also want to compare efficiency between algorithms by using on AI toolkit, like the Weka UI). One another AI book which I find pretty much hands-on is 'Collective Intelligence in Action' by Satnam Alag. "Small Bug" - by TomSmith on 06-JUL-2010Reviewer Rating:

Whole Systems This area is devoted to the study of whole systems. Nature is a whole system. But also an economy, a family, a company, a community, or many other things, can be looked at as whole systems. Whole systems are dynamic, they change they move, they develop. There is no one authority in the field of whole systems. There is a Whole Systems mailing list for the exploration of whole systems principles, particularly in regards to economic, ecological, sociological and metaphysical transformation of our civilization. 4/24/2004: Note that this page has not been actively updated for a long time. The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity by Carlo M. Cipolla, Professor of Economics, UC Berkeley in Whole Earth Review, Spring 1987 The First Basic Law of Human Stupidity asserts without ambiguity that Always and inevitably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation... As you consider Dr. Cipolla's perspective on such matters, what do you think of the people who manage his estate? ________________________________________ From: Adrian Giga [adrian.giga@humanitas.ro] Sent: Tuesday, October 29, 2013 3:13 AM To: Webmaster Subject: ECOMAIL Ecotopia Website - copyright infringement Dear webmaster, Please note that at the following URL: is posted a material that we seriously suspect it has not the permission of the exclusive rights of the owner (
