Let's get this out of the way first... In the realm of science, a theory is an idea that is so strongly supported by data and prediction that it might as well be called a fact. I'll be talking about the scientific definition of a theory in this post. I assume Creationists are the ones usually asking the question. I don't think there's a good answer to my question, for lots of reasons. For starters, I doubt anyone has been keeping a stat on overturned theories. Science requires credibility to be useful. pommecul Dilbert Creator Deletes Misogynist Rant @Moleculor: I think you miss the most serious one of all: why are men not being served first in restaurants. This is earthshattering news here people! Do you know how many innocent men have to watch their counterparts stare awkwardly at their food until the waiter comes back? Bloody horrible. Kidding aside, I think she doesn’t refute any of the claims because, well they’re legit. It isn’t the goal of feminism to push aside any male concern, it is the goal of feminism to end patriarchy. Going through the list I see: discrimination in the legal system? I have a great many men in my life and I care deeply for them. The idea isn’t a war between genders and who can be kings or queens in what. Overall the uproar really isn’t about him addressing male issues (especially in relation to patriarchy, we honestly really care about these too). As far as circumcision, I’m right there with you buddy.
