The Founding and Manifesto of Futurism We had stayed up all night, my friends and I, under hanging mosque lamps with domes of filigreed brass, domes starred like our spirits, shining like them with the prisoned radiance of electric hearts. For hours we had trampled our atavistic ennui into rich oriental rugs, arguing up to the last confines of logic and blackening many reams of paper with our frenzied scribbling. An immense pride was buoying us up, because we felt ourselves alone at that hour, alone, awake, and on our feet, like proud beacons or forward sentries against an army of hostile stars glaring down at us from their celestial encampments. Alone with stokers feeding the hellish fires of great ships, alone with the black spectres who grope in the red-hot bellies of locomotives launched on their crazy courses, alone with drunkards reeling like wounded birds along the city walls. Then the silence deepened. “Let’s go!” We went up to the three snorting beasts, to lay amorous hands on their torrid breasts.

Axiom New York Needs A New Media Gallery Eddo Stern, Kinetic Shadow Puppets (after Narnia,Segeal, World of Warcraft and Iraq) Plastic, Paper, Electronics, 2008, Interaccess, Toronto The New York gallery world isn’t as fun as it was a couple of years ago. The scene desperately needs new media galleries to replace now closed venues such as Vertexlist and artMovingProjects, and pop-up spaces aren’t going to cut it. Spaces dedicated to creating focused long term exhibition programs are essential the growth of the field and there aren’t any. Here’s what we’ve got (that I know of): Postmasters: The most legitimate New Media exhibition venue in New York though their programming isn’t exclusively such. Spencer Brownstone Gallery: Hosted Are You Sure You Are You? Eyebeam: The Atelier apparently has construction slated for October which means only their Window exhibition space is operational. Rhizome: They run the best technology blog in the city, but have no permanent physical space. Bryce Wolkowitz: Shows a lot of lightbulb art.

LABoral Art and Industrial Creation Centre Reconfiguring the Author: The Virtual Artist In Cyberspace RECONFIGURING THE AUTHOR: THE VIRTUAL ARTIST IN CYBERSPACE By Mark Amerika Reconfiguring the Author: The Virtual Artist In Cyberspace is many things at once including a research paper, a pseudo-autobiographical narrative, a technical "white paper", a textual documentary, a survey of the state-of-the-art of contemporary writing, a self-reflexive metafiction on the "public domain narrative environment" called GRAMMATRON and, last but not least, an exploration into the science of writing as it gets teleported into the electrosphere. It is an elaborate extratext that attempts to challenge the critical strategies employed by most academic theorists confined to the print-publishing model and, as such, is intimately connected to the network-distributed milieu the GRAMMATRON project circulates in. Finally, it should be noted that the image above is of the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Upgrade! Download Programm

It is extruded or molded into plastic bottles and containers for packaging foods and beverages, personal care products, and many other consumer products. Why is PET used to package so many items? PET is a highly valued packaging material because it is strong yet lightweight, non-reactive, economical, and shatterproof. What is PET used for? PET containers are popular for packaging sodas, water, juices, salad dressings, cooking oil, peanut butter, shampoo, liquid hand soap, mouthwash, pharmaceuticals, even tennis balls. What is PET made from? PET is a polymer of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid. How can I distinguish PET bottles and containers from other plastics? Why is PET sometimes called polyester? True Experimental Design - Experiments with Control Group Randomized True experimental design is regarded as the most accurate form of experimental research, in that it tries to prove or disprove a hypothesis mathematically, with statistical analysis. For some of the physical sciences, such as physics, chemistry and geology, they are standard and commonly used. For social sciences, psychology and biology, they can be a little more difficult to set up. For an experiment to be classed as a true experimental design, it must fit all of the following criteria. The sample groups must be assigned randomly. Advantages The results of a true experimental design can be statistically analyzed and so there can be little argument about the results. It is also much easier for other researchers to replicate the experiment and validate the results. For physical sciences working with mainly numerical data, it is much easier to manipulate one variable, so true experimental design usually gives a yes or no answer. Disadvantages Summary We would love feedback on this article.
