An IDF statement last night said that, after completing its mission, the IDF was pulling its forces out of the Gaza Strip and redeploying them to their previous positions. It added that the IDF views the Palestinian Authority as being directly responsible for what occurs in the area and expects it to prevent all terror activities, especially shooting at Israeli communities, civilians, and soldiers.
