Love the Grows: Questions You Should Ask Before Marriage In my marriage class in my first semester of college, our teacher gave us a handout (or should I say packet) with these questions. At first I was like "Holy shnikeys! This is way too many questions! I am NOT going to go over all of these with my fiance!" But we did. And I'm so glad we did. At first it started with asking the interesting questions, but then we asked them all, wondering if maybe the answer would be different than we expected. From answering these questions we talked about how we plan on raising and disciplining our kids, who will manage the bills, what our parents should and shouldn't know about, what we believe our flaws are. Here's some of the questions I think are really important to have an understanding on in your marriage. I don't necessarily believe the answers to these questions will make or break your marriage, but I do believe that opening up the lines of communication and honestly talking about the important things these questions bring up IS important. Dump A Day Simple Ideas That Are Borderline Genius - 43 Pics Click Here For More Genius Ideas Don Harper Mills: 1994's Most Bizarre Suicide This story can be found in many places on the Web, usually without attribution, and claims that it is true. But the story of its origin, and how to spot it must be an UL, can be found at Deconstructing Ronald Opus At the 1994 annual awards dinner given by the American Association for Forensic Sciences, AAFS President Don Harper Mills astounded his audience in San Diego with the legal complications of a bizarre death. On March 23 the medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died from a gunshot wound of the head caused by a shotgun. Ordinarily a person who starts into motion the events with a suicide intent ultimately commits suicide even though the mechanism might be not what he intended. Further investigation led to the discovery that the room on the 9th floor from whence the shotgun blast emanated was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. When one intends to kill subject A, but kills subject B in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject B.

Growing Celery Indoors: Never Buy Celery Again | 17 Apart: Growing Celery Indoors: Never Buy Celery Again Remember when we tested and shared how to grow onions indefinitely last week? Well, at the same time, we've been testing out another little indoor gardening project first gleaned from Pinterest that we're excited to share the successes of today — regrowing celery from it's base. We've figured out how to literally re-grow organic celery from the base of the bunch we bought from the store a couple weeks ago. I swear, we must have been living under a rock all these years or just not be that resourceful when it comes to food, but we're having more fun learning all these new little tips and tricks as we dive deeper into trying to grow more of our own food. This project is almost as simple as the onion growing project — simply chop the celery stalks from the base of the celery you bought from the store and use as you normally would. We let our celery base hang out in the saucer of water for right around one week, give or take. Update 2: Here's how we are looking at almost 3-4 weeks of growth:

Grant Mower | 12-Year-Old Designs Obama Dress | VIDEO Michelle Obama is a dream client for every designer, but especially for a very talented 12-year-old boy. Grant Mower may have won a fashion design contest in his home state of Texas in which he beat out high school and college students, and he may be an apprentice for Laura Bush favorite Michael Faircloth, but his sights are set on Michelle. He hopes to schedule a fitting with the First Lady while she’s in Utah for a fundraiser next week, and he’s traveling to Park City to make it happen. However, it’s not always easy being a tween boy who likes to design dresses. He has suffered through his fair share of bullying. Explains his mother Moanna: “He would look for validation, and not get it, so he’d come home from school and it would take him three hours for me to just get him back. Our fingers are crossed…how could Michelle decline his offer?! Video Courtesy of KSL.com [KSL via HuffPost Style]
The Fountain Avenue Kitchen – Orange Vinegar (a “green” cleaner) Household chores will likely be cast off in favor of egg hunts and family get-togethers this weekend, and that’s a good thing. Happy Easter! The arrival of spring, however, is known as much for bunnies and daffodils as it is for thorough cleanings. So the timing seemed right to consider an ingredient that can disinfect your counters as effectively as it can dress your salad: vinegar. Basic household items like baking soda, toothpaste, lemons, and vinegar have long been used for purposes beyond the obvious. For some people, however, the pungent smell of vinegar is off-putting. My initial experiment involved stuffing orange peels into a Mason jar, pouring basic white vinegar overtop, and storing the jar in a cupboard without opening. When I shared this “recipe” in this very space three years ago, I was astounded by the response to my little experiment. Orange Vinegar (a “green” cleaner) 1 16-ounce canning jar* 2 oranges, peels only (eat the insides!) Notes * You may vary the jar size.
