Make a Customized Silhouette T-Shirt Of Your Kids Email Kids grow up quickly; so I’m always looking for new ways to celebrate these fleeting days while my little ones are still small. Recently, I came up with a fun project that captures a moment in a child’s life, and creates a unique fashion statement. For this project, you’ll need: 1. First, you’ll need to take an appropriate photo for the project. After you’ve taken a photo you’re pleased with, load it into your computer. Tape your printed photo onto a sunny window and tear off a similar-size sheet of freezer paper. Next, use your X-Acto Knife to cut out the silhouettes. Now that your stencil is cut, it’s time to adhere the stencil to your shirt. Next, tear off a piece of freezer paper that is slightly larger than your stencil. Paint a thin layer of your chosen paint over the stencil. Wait several hours (overnight is best) to allow the paint to dry. Set paint according to manufacturer’s suggestions, and enjoy your cool and priceless keepsake shirt!

Crustless, Gluten-Free Pumpkin Pie Sue is an active and enthusiastic member of a neighboring support group. She loves to bake. Several years ago, my good friend and former co-leader of my support group, Donna, had just been introduced to Sue. I make this pumpkin pie for holiday gatherings, support group meetings, work functions, girlfriend dinners … you name it! Crustless, Gluten-Free Pumpkin Pie Author: Shirley Braden of Gluten Free Easily 2 eggsone can/box (15 – 16 ounces) pumpkin puree or 2 cups cooked fresh pumpkin puree (I used fresh pumpkin puree, hence, the lighter color and fresh pumpkin also provides a much lighter taste in my opinion)¾ cup granulated sugar½ tsp salt1 tsp ground cinnamon½ tsp ground ginger½ tsp ground nutmeg½ tsp ground allspice⅛ tsp ground clovesone 12-ounce can evaporated milk (one regular-sized can)¼ cup gluten-free flour (your choice—your favorite single flour or a mix; coconut flour can be used to make this pie grain free; sift flour) Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. 25 Rules for Mothers of Sons Inspired by a Pin I've recently seen about "rules for dads with daughters," I went searching for a similar list for moms with sons. This search was mostly fruitless, so I was inspired to write my own Rules for Moms with Sons. Granted, my list will not be conclusive and may not be entirely uncontroversial. So agree, or disagree, or take with a grain of salt - but I hope to inspire other moms who are loving, and struggling, and tired, and proud, and eager to support the boys in their lives. You are the most important woman in his life, his first teacher, and the one he will look to for permission for the rest of his life.
