S1-M2: Slide Mechanism and Concept Pipe CNC Step 1: Linear Slide Mechanism and Concept November 22, 2007 Happy thanksgiving for those who live in the United States. This is my first post in the Research and Development section of this website. You are probably wondering why I am adding the pipe CNC machine in such an illusive section.

LOL, I thought I'd heard it all... so sorry, but that is all nonsense. Now, I can forgive people for not understanding the basics, we all have to start somewhere, but you can't just invent your theories! Your theory is not even self consistent. The equations V = IR and P = VI are actually quite simple to understand, it is really worth taking the time to study them. Any conductor has a resistance.

Adventures in 3D printing I finally completed the heater bed for my Series 1. A piece of 1/4″ cut aluminum.36 X .22 ohm resistors in series. An ATX power supply with 20 watts on the 12 volt rail.Benchtop Power Board from Sparkfun. Ohm meter that reads temperature. From this, I got a working heated print bed. However, the bed strained to reach 30° C. 3D Printer UP! functions include: STL input and UP3 output3D viewingModel transform( Move, rotate, scale) Automatic and manual models placement Fast and automatic support generation Model slicingOne-touch printing Lead Screws: Starts, TPI, Threads and Linear Motion for CNC Machines Single Starts, 2 Starts, 5 Starts, TPI, Lead, HUH?!? I think it's about time to talk about lead screws. So, what is this lead screw that is always mentioned throughout this website.

Micron E.M.E Ltd Dual head full metal extruder After single head version, Micron releases the dual head full metal high end extruder. The main advantages of Micron's dual head extruder are: They sell it here: Cheap optical encoders, idea for DIY Print on glossy paper did not work either.. BUT - printout on overhead projector foil, placed over shiny aluminium plate (as a background reflector) did work !!! So, it seems I have a workable solution....

Next gen all metal 3D printer extruder from Micron Dec.31, 2013 One of the big hassles of 3D printing, is keeping having problems with your extruder. It happens quite often that the filament gets stuck and the extruder is not able to push the filament any more. That's why Micron E.M.E Ltd has introduced an all-metal, "J style" hot end, featuring a detachable filament guide and nozzle module "DFGNM". All parts are made by a CNC machine.
