Last.fm in time The other day I was looking at the audioscrobbler (the core, the data supply of last.fm) web services for interesting feeds and I saw the week chart feeds. I noticed that they provide a list of all available weeks and quickly realized that you could combine this with the Top50 feed to reconstruct older Top50's. Just subtract an artists play count from next week's total play count and you have the current total play count. Showtime Just fill out the form and look at the result. Further thoughts This still is a working project, so things might be broken from time to time, things will be added and changed. Stuff White People Like Diets - Plans for Weight Loss and Health free spirit spheres Omegle Becoming a Ballerina - Taking Dance Classes JENNIE SOMOGYI, 29, principal dancer with the New York City Ballet. "I've been a professional dancer for 13 years. I was on pointe at 8 years old, just one year after I started dancing, because my ballet teacher thought I was strong for my age. She told me never to pamper my feet. A lot of dancers tape their toes, but she said I shouldn't: If I was ever without tape, I wouldn't be able to dance." Photo Credit: Robert Maxwell/Robert Maxwell After multiple seasons of avidly watching Dancing with the Stars and America's Best Dance Crew — and some botched samba steps in front of my bathroom mirror — I was ready for professional help. My initial attempt was years ago, when my friend Aimee and I decided it would be fun to take jazz lessons to tone up for her wedding. Thinking that I'd fit in better at one of Crunch's 60 dance-inspired classes, I signed up for the gym's Ballet Body, only to discover a crowd as scary as the one at Peridance — just with looser chignons and flashier leotards.

Laxative Abuse Story - Eating Disorder Story Photo Credit: Margo Silver I was 16 years old when I climbed into the shower one morning and felt my skin begin to tingle. I assumed the water was too hot, so I turned the temperature down. But then my ears started ringing, and my head began to throb. I took a few deep breaths, leaned against the wall, and slowly sank to my knees. It all began in the sixth grade. First my hormones exploded and turned my face into a pizza. Public school in Burlington, North Carolina, only reinforced my insecurities. First, I tried the usual dieting. My answer came in the form of a premier, all-girls boarding school in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. One day, after listening to me whine about my weight for the hundredth time, my roommate suggested a solution: a little pink pill—a laxative. After that, I started taking laxatives every day. Feeling inspired, I decided to take my mission to a new level—by restricting the food I ate.

15-fantastic-higher-education-values: Personal Finance News from Fewer scholarships and more stringent requirements for private student loans are making it difficult for students to get the funding they need to attend pricey schools. James Madison University This public state school in Harrisonburg, Va., offers an affordable higher education. Texas A&M They may be called Aggies, but students at Texas A&M are no longer primarily agricultural. University of Oklahoma A large number of National Merit Scholars choose to attend the University of Oklahoma, and that seems to be an indication of its high academic quality, as is the number of Rhodes Scholars that graduate from the school. Hunter College This school is part of the City University of New York system, offering a good education at a reasonable price right in the heart of the city that never sleeps.
