Prusa Mendel Assembly Prusa Mendel Documentation Before assembling a Prusa Mendel, make sure you have all the parts necessary. For the bill of materials, see Prusa Mendel. For the visually oriented, have a look at this photo gallery of an ongoing Prusa Mendel build. You may also want to watch the complete video series for assembling a Prusa 2 How_to_build_Prusa_2. Notes: Heating the flat side of a bushing with a hair dryer or heat gun before snapping onto the smooth bar can keep it from snapping. Frame Triangles This step takes about 15 minutes per triangle, for a total of 30 minutes. There is a triangle on each side of the Prusa RepRap. Parts Required (per triangle) 2 RP footed frame vertices 1 RP frame vertex (non-footed) 1 RP bar clamp 3 370mm M8 threaded rods 14 M8 nuts 14 M8 washers (Optional but recommended) A piece of threaded rod or wood or any other material with precisely 290mm length. Front Threaded Rods This step takes about 30 minutes. Parts Required 2 assembled frame vertex triangles 2 RP bar clamps

22 Experimental WebGL Demo Examples WebGL is a web standard created to display 3D graphics in any platform that supports OpenGL. It makes use of the HTML5 Canvas element to generate graphics dynamically from script code, so there's no need to install plug-ins in the web browser. It includes some libraries that are currently in development, such as C3DL and WebGLU. This javascript API is managed by the consortium of nonprofit technology Khronos Group since early 2009 which together with the Mozilla Foundation created a workgroup in which they could experimentally develop prototypes and deployed applications using this technology. Currently the workgroup is also composed by Apple, Google and Opera, among others, and all these companies have implemented it in their latest versions of browsers like Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.

ArcGIS to 3d | Studio Smuts This tutorial was created to help our students circumnavigate the horror that is ESRI’s ArcMap software. The GIS data used in this tutorial (PLUTO NYC) can be found here: MapPLUTO: MapPLUTO Reference: Lets start by breaking down the number of steps we have to go through before we can export 3D data from this package. Open ArcMap Import a shape file containing the building footprints and building height metaData.Save the area that we want to extrude in 3D as a new shapefile. Step 1 Open ArcMap and begin a new blank project. Step 2 Next, you need to point to a .SHP file for ArcGIS. Click the “Add Folder” icon as shown below: Once you have “mapped” the folder you can then access it and choose your .SHP file. Now you should have something similar to the image below showing the island of Manhattan or what ever other city you are looking at. Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6

CraftWare Overview CraftWare is a FREE, fast, easy-to-use slicer software that converts your digital 3D object into a .gcode toolpath format understood by most 3D printers. CraftWare primarily works as a slicer for solid 3D digital objects, but it is also an excellent tool for many other tasks. You can interactively manage your prints, thus reducing build time and finding the optimal build supports. CraftWare utilizes dual channel communication for real time interaction between the software and the printer -just another great tweaking option. Our slicing algorithm effectively supplies the best possible toolpath for your CraftBot, providing the utmost quality as soon as possible. Strengths Open multiple .stl, .obj files and arrange them on the build platform. Modeling CraftWare is not a 3D design program. Epub Format Construction Guide - HXA7241 - 2007 Introduction This is a guide for making IDPF Epub ebooks/publications. It is mostly an annotated example: this document itself in Epub form. Not all details/variations are mentioned, but enough to obviate need of the specifications for normal use. Included also is a description of optional extra styling for a particular reader (but still completely conformant). You need an understanding of and ability to make XHTML/CSS and XML documents. ‘Epub’ is a standard from the International Digital Publishing Forum. Adobe Digital Editions ‘ADE’ is one of the first readers for Epub publications. This guide was written using ADE version 1.0.467 . 1: XHTML Documents Make the main content with XHTML, CSS, and images. Relevant specifications: OPS, XHTML, CSS. Use XHTML 1.1, but without the following modules: Forms Server-side Image Map Intrinsic Events Scripting (XHTML 1.1 difference from XHTML 1 strict: Include XML declaration and XHTML doctype, at the top: and xmlns attribute in html: (ADE 1.0 doesn't support: <?

Firmware Configuration Tool 0.92.8 Path planning makes your printer moves more smooth. Have a look at the above picture. It shows a print of three lines. Move Cache Size (default 16) That is the size of the buffer for currently processed segment and following moves. Minimum time per move when cache is below (default 10) The path planner has some tricks to prevent empty buffers. Assumed ticks per move computation time (default 250000) The minimum time in processor ticks, each segment must need if the cache is low.

The city in the comics Architecture, contemporary cities and comics are three issues, declared from the outset with the title of the ehibition, that was curated along with Jean-Marc Thevenet. Going further into detail, can you explain what it talks about? The exhibition "Archi et BD: la ville dessinée" (at the Cité de l'Architecture up to the end of November) tells the story of cities as interpreted by the authors of comics and graphic novels. The real subject of the exhibition is in fact the city, more than architecture. The exhibition has been laid out in a chronological sequence, beginning in the early twentieth century with Winsor McCay, the creator of Little Nemo, a legendary figure who "flies" between buildings in Chicago. What were your objectives in setting up a show of this kind? Compared to the cartoonists, there are far fewer architects. Perhaps architects don't know enough about comics to use them? Are there architects who have chosen to use comics as a means of presenting their projects?
