location/directions Direction to West Point West Point is, as expected, on the west bank of the Hudson River, only 40 miles north of New York City. Travelling here from New York City takes about an hour and a half by car, train or bus. Current West Point weather and road conditions Railroad Metro-North has rail service from Grand Central Station in mid-town Manhattan, up the east bank of the Hudson . Bus Short Line Bus offers daily bus service from the New York City Port Authority, near Times Square in midtown Manhattan, to the West Point Visitors Center; one-way trip takes 1 hour 40 minutes and costs approx $15. Driving FROM NEW YORK CITY:Head north to the George Washington Bridge/I-95 South. Take the Palisades Interstate Parkway north approximately 37 miles until it ends at the Bear Mountain Bridge traffic circle—unless you want the more leisurely and scenic route, do not get on 9W until you get to the Bear Mountain Bridge traffic circle. Travel on Route 32 for 1.7 miles.

Upon completion of the course the student will receive a certificate of completion which will allow the student to take the State Board Exam in any state in the United States, and qualify them to own and operate their own salon. General Requirements Community College freshman requirements and GPA The United States Military Academy at West Point has one of the lowest acceptance rates in the country. West Point provides a high quality education for free, although all students will have a five-year service requirement after graduation. To get accepted, applicants will need grades and test scores that are above average. In the graph above, the blue and green dots represent accepted students. Location Evans Hairstyling College was started in 1973 in Cedar City, Utah. It has grown throughout Utah and is currently opened in Rexburg, Idaho. Evans Hairstyling College has been looking to establish a new campus in Idaho for sometime and we are excited about our new location. Evans Hairstyling College - Rexburg Campus opened in the fall of 2005 and is dedicated to helping students obtain a progressive and profitable career. Rick Evans and his wife April opened their first beauty school in Provo, Utah in 1978 and a second in Orem, Utah in 1987. They now live in Idaho and are excited to bring their knowledge and expertise to Rexburg. He feels that it is important for the owner of the school to be involved with the students and clients that support the students in their education.
