How to Use Q&A in Google Slides for iPad & iPhone | Jonathan Wylie: Instructional Technology Consultant When Google Slides first came out, I wasn’t very kind in my review of all that it could do (or not do). However, the iOS app has seen a lot of improvements and today Google released a brand new feature that will be great for classrooms and presenters everywhere – a live question and answer module that lets an audience ask and vote on questions they would most like you do address. Here’s how it works. When I first tried out this feature, I couldn’t find how to activate it. My app was up to date, but there was nothing in the menus that indicated how to start a Q&A session. Step 1: Connect your iPad to the projector or external display. Step 2: Launch the presentation you want use, and tap the play arrow from the toolbar. Step 3: Once you are in presenter mode, tap the Q&A icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen to open the Q&A menu. Step 4: Tap START NEW to start a new Q&A session. Step 8: To address a specific question with your audience, tap on it. Like this: Like Loading... Related

Touro Cloud Backup 5 Ways To Send Files To Your Dropbox Without Using Dropbox Dropbox is awesome. Sometimes I don’t know how I lived before I had Dropbox, and I’m sure I’m not the only one. But as much as we take Dropbox for granted, many people still don’t use it, or don’t even know about it (yes, it’s true!). Many times I find myself in a predicament, when I know the easiest way to get a file is to use Dropbox, but explaining about Dropbox will just take too long. Note that all these services require your Dropbox credentials in order to work, and you must authorize them within Dropbox. FileStork FileStork is a web-based service which you can use to create file requests to be sent to your Dropbox. New Google Slides Features! Google just released a couple amazing upgrades to Slides that I'm quite jazzed about! The most noteable is a new integrated backchannel/audience participation tool they're calling "Q&A". Now, when you're presenting using Google Slides, you can display a short URL that audience members can access and submit questions while you're presenting. Audience members can see everyone's questions and vote up the questions they also want to hear answered! As the presenter, you're able to see the questions at any time and how many votes each has received. To access this tool, don't go hunting for it while you're in edit mode, you won't find it! Once started, a URL will display at the top of each slide that audience members can access when they have questions to ask. If you want to share a question with the whole audience, just click on the "PRESENT" button beneath the question and it will display, Thoughtful features of this tool include: Users can submit questions anonymously.
