You basically just mix all the ingredients together, but the best way to do this is by mixing the frozen pink lemonade concentrate with the vodka first. Note: If you want the lemonade to be extra sweet, add a fifth can of concentrate to the mix. Then pour in all the beer. Though it’s a Mexican holiday, here in Southern California, Cinco de Mayo celebrations are pretty widespread… mostly an excuse to eat Mexican food and partake in downing a few margaritas. We had a party last year for that very reason. These Margarita Cupcakes are fun for a Cinco de Mayo party, but they surely can be made for any festive, adult occasion…emphasis on adult. They do have a bit of tequila in them, so it’s probably best to keep them away from the little ones. Also in these cupcakes is margarita mix and Grand Marnier. These are simple cupcakes that begin with a box of white cake mix. The icing is a Lime Buttercream. I thought this might be a fun way to serve them too, but then things might get kind of, um, interesting when you have your guests licking the bottoms of the shot glasses. Have fun with these… They were a big hit with my taste testers!
Hanging Jewelry Holder – Space Saver I have mentioned before that the reason we moved to Colorado 2 months ago, was for my husband to complete several clinical rotations (for PA school) before graduating next spring. And lucky us, we were able to bum my parents basement apartment off of them while staying here. (Thanks Mom and Dad!) The basement has everything we need; bedrooms, a bathroom, a family room……even a kitchen. But overall, it’s a smaller space than what we had in GA. So downsizing has been tricky. So we have meshed things together and have doubled up room purposes. Anyway, lately, I have been having an all-out-fight with my jewelry. So, I was walking through Joann’s the other day (buying the duck cloth for this bag) and saw some fabric jewelry holders. And this is what I came up with. A double sided hanging fabric holder…….perfect for all of my orphaned jewelry pieces. Both sides are made with customized pocket sizes. I will be hanging my jewelry holder right in my closet. You never know when one of us may be moving phone cords around, to give our phones an extra charge while we’re chatting away……… or trying to charge our phones up before running errands or something. (Okay, and how about when you’re in a hotel or visiting family/friends. I was looking around on the internet for a solution and found this. It made the perfect little holder for my cell phone while it’s being charged. Holder for Charging Cell Phone And no more phone hanging down from the outlet while in this room or that room……..the cord and phone are now up off the ground, and tucked away into the little holder, while the phone drinks up a full charge. And of course I couldn’t just leave the poor little holder alone……I had to Mod Podge some fabric right onto it for some kick. If you look closely, you can see that the orange print is fabric. And turns out, it’s pretty useful.
