BACK TO THE FUTURE : Irina Werning - Photographer I love old photos. I admit being a nosey photographer. As soon as I step into someone else’s house, I start sniffing for them. Most of us are fascinated by their retro look but to me, it’s imagining how people would feel and look like if they were to reenact them today… Two years ago, I decided to actually do this. Now its time for KOREA, TAIWAN AND TOKYO. The Sacred Geometry Of Music The Sacred Geometry Of Music by Andrew Lorimer Music uses the laws of vibration to manifest aurally what exists at the center of everything. Into our reality springs a non-visual harmonic law that is universal. The notes and intervals of music speak directly to the chakra centers and causes them to vibrate in harmony to the vibration of a string or vocal chords, speakers moving through the air, or the sound of someone’s lips making a farting noise through a metal tube. Clock Harmonisphere The mathematics of the harmonisphere are amazing. When we measure the same chords on the harmonisphere, the seven chords have the same mirrored combinations as the piano:

Philosophy Posters by Max Temkin Philosophy is the study of general and fundamental problems, such as those connected with existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language. Philosophy is distinguished from other ways of addressing such problems by its critical, generally systematic approach and its reliance on rational argument. The word “philosophy” comes from the Greek φιλοσοφία (philosophia), which literally means “love of wisdom“. CBT is based on the idea that problems aren't caused by situations themselves, but by how we interpret them in our thoughts. The way we think about a situation can affect how we feel and how we act For example, if someone you know walks by without saying hello, what's your reaction? You might think that they ignored you because they don't like you, which might make you feel rejected. But how well did you interpret the situation in the first place? Plant Alkaloids During the past 130 million years, flowering plants have colonized practically every habitat on earth, from arid deserts, boggy meadows and windswept alpine summits, to sun-baked grasslands, lush rain forests and wave-battered rocky shores. They have replaced most of the ancient ferns and seed plants that dinosaurs subsisted on, and developed a complex and fascinating relationship with insects and mammals. During these countless centuries of time, flowering plants have gradually evolved all sorts of ingenious protective devices to discourage hungry herbivorous animals. Leaves and stems have developed a variety of vicious spines and stinging hairs (trichomes). In some plants, the dense covering of silvery hairs may also provide other ecological advantages such as solar reflection and insulation in arid environments. One of the largest groups of chemical arsenals produced by plants are the alkaloids. A Tree Protected By Ants Instead Of Alkaloids According to the famous botanist G.L.

THE ABOLITION OF WORK by Bob Black No one should ever work. Work is the source of nearly all the misery in the world. Almost any evil you'd care to name comes from working or from living in a world designed for work. In order to stop suffering, we have to stop working. That doesn't mean we have to stop doing things. It does mean creating a new way of life based on play; in other words, a ludic conviviality, commensality, and maybe even art. The ludic life is totally incompatible with existing reality. Liberals say we should end employment discrimination. You may be wondering if I'm joking or serious. The alternative to work isn't just idleness. I am not playing definitional games with anybody. Usually -- and this is even more true in "Communist" than capitalist countries, where the state is almost the only employer and everyone is an employee -- work is employment, i. e., wage-labor, which means selling yourself on the installment plan. But modern work has worse implications. Such is "work." I disagree.
