How to Make Paper Pencils (tutorial) I have always wanted to make my own pencils, but the thought of shaping two pieces of wood to allow a piece of lead to sit perfectly inside made me think it wasn’t worth the effort. For some reason I was looking at some pieces of lead I have (for a drafting pencil) and “pop” there it was.. a solution to my DIY longing. Here is a tutorial to make pencils that is so ridiculously easy I’ve made 10 pencils since the idea came to me yesterday! Enjoy. Paper: I recommend using 6″ origami paper. The paper I used was beautiful washi origami paper made in Japan (see exact product here).

CSS: fonts Font families After the color, the font is probably the most basic property of a page. On this page I won't show any "tricks," but I will show the range of font variations that CSS allows. Since not all fonts are available on all computers (there are thousands of fonts, and most are not free), CSS provides a system of fallbacks. You list the font that you want first, then any fonts that might fill in for the first if it is unavailable, and you should end the list with a generic font, of which there are five: serif, sans-serif, monospace, cursive and fantasy. The following table shows examples of various fonts (your browser may not know all of them) and you can see what your browser does with each of the five generic ones:

Tutoriels d'introduction I thought I’d share with you how to make my fabric scrap “basket”. It’s VERY simple. I whipped out another two baskets in no time at all. Besides being a cute novelty item for a party, I think they would add a little drama to the end of a romantic meal. I've been looking for something different to serve for Valentine's dessert, and this is definitely different. The strawberries are hollowed out and filled with a bit of liquor, then ignited with a match. For the cake portion, I chose a One Bowl Chocolate Cupcake recipe because 1. it's quick 2. it is easy, and 3. it fits my prerequisite for a light ending on date night.

Shoe Box Theater This is a favorite with teachers and students. It is a low cost project that it fun to make and the final results are magical. I have been making shoe box theaters since I was a young kid and enjoyed making zoos and pet shops and fairy land scenes. My boxes became even more elaborate and actually a bit bigger when I discovered my mothers rubber stamp collection.
