Recognized as a barrier free airport, Vancouver Airport Authority strives to ensure that all passengers have a positive travel experience. In 2012, the Airport Authority partnered with Spinal Cord Injury - BC to create a resource for wheelchairs users to learn how to prepare for air travel. The video tours were launched in late 2012 and the first in-person tour for participants and their families was held in January 2013.
