Restaurant in New York completely replaces menus with iPad 2 Don’t you just hate it when you go to a restaurant, place your order with the waiter, and after emphatically conveying to the waiter three times that you do not want parsley in your salad, it comes covered with the stuff? Granted sometimes it can be the chef’s mistake who may be so used to pushing out stock orders that he/she forgets that this order is slightly different, but perhaps this restaurant in New York will be able to cut down on waiter/waitress mistakes and improve efficiency. Located in New York City’s West Village, De Santos is a high-end Italian restaurant and they’re also apparently the first restaurant in New York to fully make use of the iPad 2 as a menu.

Tasty Kitchen Blog - StumbleUpon I first discovered panko bread crumbs back in 1999. Please don’t ask me how I know that; I just do. I remember vividly reading a recipe that contained panko bread crumbs, and I remember vividly that I was nursing my second baby, and I remember vividly that I was hormonal and desperate, and the next thing I knew I was ordering panko bread crumbs from some market in Chelsea that the magazine recommended. On the phone, of course, because although I had a computer at the time, I certainly wouldn’t have been cool enough to use it to order panko bread crumbs.

As I am back in France for a few weeks, I wanted to see what was happening in the French tech scene. I heard a lot about the French incubator “Le Camping”, an accelerator program from Silicon Sentier that allows 12 teams to develop a project over 6 months, essentially letting entrepreneurs make their dreams into a reality. Cyril Dorsaz, 25 years old, is one of the lucky entrepreneurs who was chosen for his project Beansight. Dorsaz says, “Le Camping gives us not only an infrastructure, an office where we can build synergy with the other teams, but great support, access to inspiring mentors and of course a bridge to VCs and investors.”

EDDIE ROSS - Pink Ombre Cake - StumbleUpon Here's a cake sure to sweeten up the Valentines in your life. Pick up three boxes of your favorite white cake mix—or work from scratch if you have the time—along with a bottle of Wilton's Icing Color in petal pink. Split each box into two batches for a total of six, then add increasing amounts of dye little by little until you achieve the ombre effect. italian sodas - StumbleUpon June 30, 2011 | Sweet Recipes | Comments Growing up, these Italian sodas were my favorite!! My mom and I would always stop by a little coffee shack on our road trips to Oregon. I remember ordering the blueberry Italian soda in the summer instead of ice cream because they were so refreshing. I hadn’t had one of these since I was a kid, so I wanted to recreate the easy recipe. I even made my own blueberry and strawberry syrup instead of using Torani.
