Welcome to BLENDER VIDEOS.COM :::: | Collection of Blender 3D video tutorials,Movies,Clips,Research and Development works, Demo-reels,interviews,features and many more :: Updated everyday 3D Bar Box of Goodies I’ve realized that the only way to create realistic outdoor scenes is by adding lots and lots of nature elements. Things like trees, flowers, bushes, rocks etc. are essential in making the scene look “believable”. But I also know that creating these things by hand takes a very long time. And not everyone has time to sit down for hours on end and create tree after tree after tree. Which is why I’ve done the hard work for you :) The Box of Goodies! Inside this box of goodies you’ll find 9 nature models that you can keep. As well as this you’ll find a collection of grass reference photos that will help you to better create it in blender. Eg. What will you do with yours? Drop your email address in the box to the right and I’ll send the Box of Goodies your way.

Latest Build Available – Soon to be released to the public for testing! « Save The Ocean Sim – Project News We’ve been on a bit of a break due to holidays, and work schedules, but I wanted to let you know about the latest build of the Ocean Simulation Tools version of Blender that has been posted. Contrary to some people’s belief, the project has not died, and work is progressing very well! : ) The newest build is the January 4th version which is now available for donors for Win 32/64, Linux 32/64, and OSX 64 as usual. Here’s what is new to this build: Updates in Build 0104 • Ability to Sync Ocean Modifier with Ocean Texture After hedging our bets on what the final ocean tool would be, it looks like a combination of the modifier and texture will give the most flexible results. • Ocean Modifier Mesh Displacement Choice The ability for the modifier to choose between either generating the ocean surface grid directly and displacing that or just displacing existing geometry. • Hooked up Normal information from Ocean Sim code to the modifier. News Fluid Simulation for Dummies Fluid Simulation for Dummies In the spring and summer of 2005, I wrote my Master's thesis on high-performance real-time 3D fluid simulation and volumetric rendering. The basics of the fluid simulation that I used are straightforward, but I had a very difficult time understanding it. The available reference materials were all very good, but they were a bit too physics-y and math-y for me. Unable to find something geared towards somebody of my mindset, I'd like to write the page I wish I'd had a year ago. With that goal in mind, I'm going to show you how to do simple 3D fluid simulation, step-by-step, with as much emphasis on the actual programming as possible. The simulation code and ideas that I'm going to present are based on Jos Stam's paper Real-Time Fluid Dynamics for Games. Basics Fluid simulation is based on the Navier-Stokes equations, which are fundamental, interesting, and difficult to understand without a good background in physics and differential equations. A Brief Blender History Lesson : Prior to the release of Blender 1.8a (Complete Blender) the more advanced features (including Python scripting) were reserved for the users of Blender who had purchased a Ckey. CAUTION : As of version 1.8a, Blender is no longer restricted by the Ckey, and all of the advanced features, available at this time (June 21, 2000), have been transferred to the free version of Blender. Note that some of the Python scripts that you encounter on the Internet may have been written for an older version of Blender and may not have been updated by the author yet.
