5 Skin Care Mistakes You Do Not Want to Make Posted on 11th Oct 2011 @ 11:38 PM Skin Care regimens can quickly get complicated and confusing when using multiple products. Be sure you are not making one of these five common mistakes that can make you look old before your time. 1.) Forgetting about Your Neck Most people think of the face when you mention anti-aging products, but neglecting your neck is a sure-fire way to show your age before you're ready. 2.) In addition to topical creams and serums, the optimum anti-aging skin care regimen includes nourishing the skin from within. 3.) You've heard it many times before: no single product can do more to prevent the signs of aging than sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. 4.) Next to your face, your hands are probably the most visible parts of your body and will show the earliest signs of aging. 5.) Don't miss more Award-Winning Skin Care...

How to create a secret garden | Dan Pearson You should never fear the small dark places. As a child these were my favourite haunts: the hole in the hedge with its cave of branches and leaf litter, separated from sky and the goings-on of the outside world. There was also the microcosm of the moss gardens I made among the root plate of the beech tree. A small bowl of water, which collected in a cleft between the roots, reflected the canopy above and I imagined this was the watering point of something tiny that lived among the roots. The slivers of land that most of us have to contend with in cities are not so dissimilar. There are a few basic rules if you are working small. As for the plants, the same rules apply. Shade should never be seen as an issue – some of the most beautiful plants are adapted to cool places and the woodland floor. Shade is not the first place you might think of for silver plants, as most reflect light and are found in exposed places, but silver in shade is as good as a lighting scheme.

How To Clean and *SHINE* Your Microwave Without Cleaner This is one of those ideas I have gone back and forth on whether I should post. First of all….I feel like EVERYONE already knows this “trick” to cleaning the microwave. I’ve been doing it for YEARS. However, I didn’t discover it until I had been married for several years and had cleaned the microwave COUNTLESS times the “hard way”. And it really IS a super EASY and EFFECTIVE way to accomplish one of my LEAST favorite kitchen cleaning duties! So….I would HATE for anyone to suffer needlessly because they just happened to have been living under a rock and hadn’t heard of this! And then there’s the ADDITIONAL concern that ONCE AGAIN I must display my dirt to the world. This, my friends, is the type of “mental torture” I put myself through for you people! Well, obviously I decided that showing you my dirty microwave “served the greater good”….because there you are, looking at it on your computer (or phone, or whatever) right now. Wow. OK…now that I’m committed to posting this…here we go. WOW!
