I realize I have been griping about the weather lately...I'm just not a fan of "Old Man Winter". He's not my type. Sorry dude. In relevant news, everything bagels are one of my favorite kinds of bagels. What I don't like though is how they don't sell them in a whole wheat variety...or not that I have been able to find. He needs to start thinking onion breath is sexy is all I'm sayin... I made little mini bagels and was quite satisfied with what I came up with. Whole Wheat Everything Bagels with Caramelized Onions Adapted from Food.com Makes about 8-10 mini bagels and 6 regular bagels Ingredients: Directions: Heat a large skillet on medium-high heat. If I were writing the definition, I'd add that the Greek cooking trinity of lemon, garlic, and oregano would have to be included, and since I was using chicken this time I also added a touch of thyme to the marinade. I like traditional Souvlaki made from pork, as well as Lamb Souvlaki, but for a light summer meal I don't think you can beat the combination of Chicken Souvlaki and a salad with cucumbers and tomatoes from the garden.
