Tomato Soup Grilled Cheese
{Created/photographed by With Style and Grace} Growing up, this is my hands down, favorite comfort meal, tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich. Maybe it was all the bread and cheese I consumed that had me develope allergies to dairy and gluten? Whatever, it was totally worth it. Good news, this soup is DAIRY-FREE! I made this for my husband the other night and I kid you not, he has not stopped talking about it since. Looking for something different to serve for the Super Bowl? Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Sandwiches This is an incredibly flavorful pulled pork recipe that uses, you guessed it, Dr. Pepper. It takes all of about 5 minutes to put all of the ingredients into your slow cooker and then you pretty much forget about it until dinner time ; ) It doesn’t get much easier. If you don’t happen to have a slow cooker you could also make this in the oven just as easily. I also love how budget-friendly this recipe is. If you’re making it just for your family you can use the extras to make one to two additional meals. It’s also perfect for upcoming get-togethers like Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or Labor Day when you’re feeding a crowd! Dr. What to do: 1. 2. 3. 4. Peanut Butter Sushi [Photographs: Peanut Butter & Co] You Will Need Your favorite breadPeanut butterSliced fruits and veggiesJam (optional)Mini marshmallows and crispy rice (also optional)Honey (again, optional) Peanut butter and raw fish—two things that sound like they should never go together. Maybe I'll challenge that notion someday, but for now, here are some fun ways to eat peanut butter inspired by the Japanese art of maki rolls, minus the actual fish. Our sprightly intern at Peanut Butter and Co. Peanut butter maki rolls are really nothing new—people have been doing this with peanut butter and jelly for years, calling them "pinwheel" sandwiches, which refers to the swirl of peanut butter and jelly created when you roll up the sandwiches. I love the idea of introducing kids and the otherwise sushi-averse to this fun food shape.

Grilled Cheese Social I've got to get this off of my chest. I care about bees. Like a lot. So to talk about bees without being a total drag, I've made a new sandwich to showcase their sweet, sweet nectar. So here's my spin... Ingredients: - about 4 slices fresh mozzarella - 2 hearty slices of a Bâtard - 5 slices of sopressata picante - 1 tbs of red pepper flaked butter (combine 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes with one tablespoon of real salted butter, MIX) - 1 tbs of basil infused honey (fresh basil leaves and tupelo honey Ok, so I'm totally obsessed with tupelo honey (and it doesn't have anything to do with my obsession for Van Morrison either. To make the basil infused honey, julienne about ten small basil leaves and stir them into a tablespoon of honey. Then add a layer of mozzarella. Then add some spicy sopressata. And now add on the last layer of mozz. Then the top piece of bread... IT'S TIME FOR THE RED PEPPER FLAKE BUTTER. Then turn your burner up to medium and set your sandwich in. So there ya have it.
