To document compelling true stories on individuals that are in the process of losing or whom have lost their home. The film will use the compare and contrast method to illustrate how the banks and ill method of their ways of selling and quick to take back sales; with the example of the Hooverville (shantytown) eras during the Great Depression. We hope to get a historian from New York City – Central Park area to discuss on camera about one of the largest Hoovervilles of the 1930’s. We would like to share stories from people now in the present. We would also like to get, if possible, a real estate agent, marshal (in charge of eviction of foreclosures), and bank representative (currently working or has worked recently). Well, the great thing about this project is that I already have a backer via the OCC Shorts linked to the Newport Beach Film Festival!
Cooler modal Popup window with fade effect – gradient colors, border, drop shadow and center position | RIA Lab In one of my earlier post I talked on creating a cool modal pop up window using CSS3 and JavaScript. It had fade effect upon opening and closing of the pop up. Based on the same lines, I have created a much cooler pop up, actually asked by one of my readers. JavaScript changes I have made some changes in the architecture of the popup creation. //show the modal overlay and popup window function showPopUpMessage(modalWindowHeader,modalWindowContent,width,height) { //code goes here } Since this new pop up has a header, so I have kept a separate method for the header. Similarly, I have kept a separate function to create the contents of the modal pop up. And now once I have the header and the content I can call the showPopUpMessage() function to launch the pop up,
