Tweet-o-Meter - Giving you an insight into Twitter activity from around the world! Is it true that, "New York is the city that never sleeps!"? Do Londoners send more Tweets than New Yorkians'? Is Oslo a bigger Tweeter than Munich? Is Tokyo as much into Tweets as Barcelona? Has San Francisco calmed down after all that talk about the iPad? The Tweet-o-Meter measures the amount of tweets (measured in Tweets per Minute or TPM) received from various locations around the world. Tweet-o-Meter is designed to mine data for later analysis relating to furthering our understanding of social and temporal dynamics for e-Social Science within the Twitter demographic. شعارات يبدو أن ملاحظة زميلي عبد الرحمن النعيمي كانت دقيقة حين قارن بين الشعارات التي كنت أصممها قبل عامين وبين الشعارات التي أعمل عليها حالياً، رأى أني خففت من العمل شعارات “الفكرة” وتركيزي أصبح أكثر على شعارات الحروفية أو التايبوغرافي، أي الشعارات التي تعتمد في أساسها على ابتكار خط خاص بها. لا أذكر متى حدث بالضبط، لكن هذا الأمر كان يشكل لدي تحدياً كبيراً، لم أكن راضياً كثيراً عن الشعارات التي أصممها لعدة أسباب. فالشعارات التي صممتها من قبل كانت دوماً تعتمد في خطوطها المصاحبة على خطوط أخرى جاهزة معروفة لمصممين آخرين. وهو ما يهددها أولاً بأن تشابه أعمال الآخرين،. وأهم نقطة هنا هو أني دوماً أشعر بالنقص تجاه تلك الشعارات، فهي في نظري غير كاملة؛ كون العمل الذي قدمته ينقصه شيء المفروض أنني أنا من قام به، لا غيري. الجزء الآخر أن الشعارات العربية المعتمدة على الخطوط أمر أظنه ضروري جداً، بل كان مطلب العديد من العملاء، الذين يريدون خطاً عربياً فريداً بهم غير مكرر وغير مستخدم لدى الآخرين. كلما مرت علي مواضيع حول برج خليفة أو برج دبي، إلا وكانت كلها تعج بالأرقام والإحصائيات والمفاخرة..
