Witch Hazel Reviews I've had acne since I was in fourth grade; now I'm nearing the end of my senior year and am still struggling with my acne. I ran across Witch Hazel in the store, and I already knew the herb itself has a history of being used to heal, so I decided to take a chance and buy it. When everything else has failed, you just kinda try anything and everything that seems even moderately promising. I started using it about a week ago, and already I can see the results. I use it when I first wake up and am getting ready for school, and then I use it right before I go to bed. It's real gentle, doesn't burn or irritate. I have picky skin. As I said before, in any case, I've only been using it for a week, and my face has cleared up considerably. I'm really hoping that this continues to work.

Working on my fitness 13 lush eco beauty tricks I have a troubled past with makeup. When I worked in magazines I was beholden to the beauty industry, forced to get excited about skin whiteners and lash extenders. It killed me. When I got unwell I realised I had to do something about this and swerved to chemical-free beauty and makeup products. image via Lyns Tumblr But there’s also the eco argument that’s worth considering in all this. But boiled down, it can be simple. Yes, keep it simple and you generally land at the most organic, eco and chemical-free option. But to be sure, I asked Maria Hannaford to give her take. naturalskin: ACV Toner / Aspirin Tea Mask / Thanks! First of all, I want to thank everybody who replied to my previous entry about ACV, aspirin masks and scalp problems! I took all of your scalp suggestions into consideration and I'm hoping that I'll be flake free soon in the future. :D -----------------------------------ACV TonerI fine-tuned and completed my ACV toner recipe and it is AWESOME. I honestly never thought I would ever find a toner that actually did anything except wet my face and infuse it with lovely engineered chemicals, so I pretty much forgot about them until I ran accross ACV fanatics at the acne.org red marks forum. So I decided to give it a try. Anyway, here's my recipe:3 to 4 ounces of Apple Cider Vinegar4 to 5 ounces of boiled water4 Green Tea bags1 Chamomile Tea bagJojoba oil (optional) & Tea Tree oil (optional)5-7 finely crushed plain aspirin pills Steep the tea bags in the water and let it sit there for at least 30 minutes. Aspirin Tea MaskOK, this is my own creation, because I'm a Green Tea fanatic.
