From My Inbox: João Pina Once in a while I get a staggering email from a photographer. The latest greeted me when I returned from Paris; ten images in my inbox from Portuguese photographer João Pina, from his new series about the incredible violence that plagues Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Not only is the work amazing, but Pina’s edit is spot on, and his text is compellling. I will share them with you, so you can see for yourself….

V Houses at Verana There are many ways to build employee quarters, temporary housing for those who decide to come work for a season at Verana. This summer we decided to build some additional housing and the images here show you what we came up with. V-houses at V-erana. An experiment which turned out to be exciting to design, to build and after all to live in.

Cotton Candy Machine We are really looking forward to ushering in the Spring season with an incredible three person show, opening on Saturday April 5th. The show will feature Ciou, Malojo and Dmitri Drjuchin, all three of which have crafted their own distinct (and stunning) universes, chock full of strange creatures, cool textures and just the right hints of darkness. In addition to showing entirely new works from each artist, we will also have some awesome extras for those who make it out to the opening! But first, a bit about the artists... "Ciou was born in Toulouse in 1981. She actually works and lives in her home town, after living in Bruxelles and Paris.
