Birthday So here is my finished birthday bucket with birthday balloons: {all finished, finally!!} {i def. underestimated the size of the pixie sticks} {the bucket up close - pink, lime green glitter paper, and glitter zebra paper} {birthday balloon toppers!!} {glued to the top of the pixie sticks} So I originally didn't have fur on the top. I may or may not have spent way too much on it, but that's okay. I am about halfway through book bin labels for primary classrooms, so those of you who are looking for more non-chapter themed labels I'll have those coming for you!! make note it looks funny for some reason on google docs, but it does not print like that Question for everyone that is 3rd grade or higher... Gumball Machine Valentines I finished the gumball valentines that I designed. I think they turned out really cute. Hope you like them too! so you can make them too! But first... Here is a tip for poking holes in gum balls, so you can string them to make jewelry... or whatever. Use a small drill bit! Drill through one side, then drill through the other side. The drilling can be done by hand with just the drill bit and not using the drill. Another tip... start with a very small drill bit and gradually enlarge the hole by stepping up the size of the drill bit. This will help you drill through the gum ball without cracking it. Hope this information helps! Okay! Here is the valentine tutorial: (aren't they cute!) Get the PDF to print the bottom part of the valentine here. You can print it on any color paper card stock that you wish. Put gum balls in a bag, about 10 of them. I used fold top sandwich bags for the gum balls, but you can also use plastic wrap or other small clear baggies. Tie the bag closed. I tied the bag with yarn, Turn over...

Guest Post: Single-Photo Sketch | I Scrap, U Scrap March 16, 2011 at 7:44 am , by scrapbooksetc There are times when you have one brilliant photo that says it all. Or perhaps, one photo is all you have of an event. This latest sketch is a quick formula to highlight that favorite photo. With the layout examples provided below, each contributor varied the use of the sketch to fit their scrapbooking style. “Life is Good” Designed by Valerie Salmon SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper. Designer’s Notes: I followed the elements of the sketch almost exactly and used a 5×7″ photo. “Sweet Cheeks” Designed by Kimberly Neddo SOURCES Cardstock: Bazill Basics Paper. To keep a layout simple, yet pop, I like to add dimension to my pages with pop dots and inking around the edges of the paper, as well as the photograph. “Her Smile” Designed by AnnaMarie Mondro SOURCES Patterned paper: My Mind’s Eye, Jillibean Soup. Designer’s Notes: You Glow” Designed by Virginia Wong SOURCES Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Papertrey Ink. www.valeriesalmon.com
