SLN Geography Home Page Welcome from the Staffordshire teachers of Geography Whether you are interested in primary, middle or secondary education, we hope you will find something useful and enriching. Juicy Geography French Polynesia Belles journées ensoleillées de jeudi et vendredi en général, hormis quelques nuages sur le relief pouvant donner quelques gouttes. Vent d'Est Sud-Est modéré avec des rafales à 50/60 kilomètres/heure, notamment dans le chenal entre Raiatea et Tahaa et vers la pointe Matira à Bora Bora. Mer agitée. Houle courte de Sud-Est d'1 mètre 50 à 2 mètres. Petite houle longue de secteur Sud. Les journées de jeudi et vendredi sont assez bien ensoleillées sur les côtes Ouest de Tahiti ainsi que vers Moorea, tandis que relief et côtes Est de Tahiti restent exposés à des passages nuageux bas porteurs d'averses. Nuages et averses sont de retour jeudi sur le Nord de l'archipel, et sur la moitié Sud, temps bien ensoleillé. Jeudi, une bande nuageuse accompagnée d'averses intéresse les régions allant de Reao à Nukutavake, Hao, Makemo, Anaa, Fakarava, Takaroa, Rangiroa et Mataiva. Temps sec et ciel passagèrement nuageux sont au programme de ces journées de jeudi et vendredi.

Hyperbole and a Half Cape Reinga/Te Rerenga Wairua Lighthouse Walk: Walking and tramping in Te Paki Recreation Reserve, Cape Reinga (Te Rerenga Wairua) Description Walk a short distance to the lighthouse to experience outstanding views of our Northern Coast. To the west Cape Maria Van Dieman and Motuopao Island, to the east is Piwhane/Spirits Bay and Hikurua/de Serville Cliffs, the North Island's most northern point. Offshore, you can witness the immense power of two mighty oceans merging. Getting there Cape Reinga/Te Rerenga Wairua is located at the northernmost area of New Zealand, approximately 111 km north of Kaitaia. Follow State Highway 1 north to Waitiki Landing, continuing another 20 km to Cape Reinga/Te Rerenga Wairua. Cape Reinga Road gets very busy over the summer months. Know before you go Toihu te whenua – leave the land undisturbed.

Digital Typhoon: Typhoon Images and Information - National Institute of Informatics This site has the comprehensive archive of meteorological satellite "Himawari" images since 1978, and offers a typhoon database of about 200,000 typhoon images since 1979 and typhoon best tracks since 1951 to search by date, name, location, cloud patterns, and so on. Recently this site started to provide typhoon forecast information, but the latest typhoon information, weather forecast, advisories and warnings should be obtained from reliable sources such as "Japan Meteorological Agency: Typhoon Information" and other sites. Updates may be delayed due to the status of network between data sources. Images of past typhoons from 1979 to this year are archived. In the informatics community, there is a growing interest in discovering relevant information from the huge amount of data that is overwhelming even in our everyday life.
