Chrysler is continuing to highlight its Detroit heritage with a new special edition and accompanying television commercial that celebrates the spirit of Motown. The commercial is the latest in a long line of ads celebrating personalities and institutions connected with the city of Detroit, the first of which starred rapper Eminem. The latest ad features Berry Gordy, the founder of the legendary Motown record company and a Detroit native. Called Who We Are, the ad also showcases the new 2013 Chrysler 300 Motown Edition. This limited-edition vehicle features bright chrome front and rear fascia accents, mirror caps and door handles, a custom grille with seven sculpted horizontal blades, 20-inch aluminum wheels, blacked-out Chrysler wing badges, and Motown badges on the front fenders. Inside, the car gets white Nappa leather trim with black piping and accent stripes.

2012 Volkswagen Passat The European market has proven to be a moneymaking investment for the Volkswagen Passat, but in the U.S., the sedan has not seen impressive sales numbers. This could very well be the reason Volkswagen has unveiled the 2012 Passat at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show just after revealing their 2011MY sedan just a few months ago at the Paris Auto Show. 2013 Chrysler 300 Motown Edition Photos and Info Chrysler’s ad campaigns of late have focused closely on the connection its cars have to the city of Detroit, and now the company is introducing a special-edition 300 that comes with its hometown’s vibes baked right in. Literally. The 2013 Chrysler 300 Motown edition’s style bumps to the tune of the music it is named after. Of course, an ad campaign featuring the new sedan is up and running; fittingly, the spot features Berry Gordy, legendary founder of Motown Records. But back to the car. In the Motown days, cars seemingly had more chrome than painted surfaces, so Chrysler slathered the Motown edition 300 with as much of the shiny stuff as possible. on 20-inch polished aluminum wheels and the 300’s available “touring” suspension. 2013 Chrysler 300 Motown Edition On the exterior, the new special edition 300 sedan will be identified by bright chrome front and rear fascia accents, mirror caps, door handles and daylight-opening surround. Mopar has also added a special bright chrome grille with seven sculpted horizontal blades and a new set of 20" polished "heritage" design aluminum wheels, giving the 300 Motown Edition the distinguishing characteristics that does justice to its designation. Customers can also choose from among four exterior colors for the special edition 300, including Bright White, Gloss Black, Deep Cherry Red and new Jazz Blue. For the interior, Chrysler combined a black trim environment with leather seats in Pearl White Nappa leather, and featuring "Motown" logos embroidered on the front seat-backs.
