Breathtaking Lake Kaindy Kaindy Lake (Kaindy means “lots of spruce”) is a 400 metre long lake located in the Tianshan Mountains of Kazakhstan that reaches depths near 30 metres in some areas. Kaindy Lake is about 129 km from the city of Almaty. Why this lake is so unique and popular? This lake is famous for its beautiful colours and dried fir tree stumps sticking out of it attracts many people to enjoy the beauty and mystery of the place. It was created by the result of an enormous limestone landslide, triggered by the 1911 Kebin earthquake. The site is as popular for diving as it is for sight-seeing. Even in the Summer the water temperature is very cold and usually does not rise above 6 degrees causing the great pines to remain on the trees even after over 100 years. Considering the weather conditions, the best time to visit the Lake is late spring to early autumn.

28 Drunken Cupcakes | Totally Pinteresting I'm sick with pneumonia and life is very overwhelming right now. I can call off from work but I can't really call off from home. Telling a mom/wife/homemaker that she needs to rest is a big fat joke. I alternate between wishing for a cupcake and wishing for an icy fruity drink with lots of vodka or tequila. I searched "alcohol cupcakes" on Pinterest. (Jack Daniels, and lots of it!) (Kahlua and Baileys) (Spiced Rum) (Kahlua) (Kahlua, Vodka, Baileys) (Peach Schnapps and Champagne) (Champagne or Sparkling Red Wine) (Irish Whiskey and Baileys Irish Cream) (Espresso Stout) (Red, red wine, Stay close to meeee) (Butterscotch Schnapps and Creme de Cacao) Chocolate Cupcakes (Jack Daniels) (Coconut Rum) (Baileys and Kahlua) You might ask, were 28 really necessary? 2015: the biggest year for movies ever? In the overcrowded world of blockbuster releases, “The biggest movie of the year!” is the most clichéd of the promotional chest thump. But what would be “the biggest year for movies”? There’s many a strong contender... How about 1982 with ‘E.T.’ and ‘Blade Runner’? Movie lore has it, however, that 1999 is the year to beat – and for fairly obvious reasons. But what if the best is yet to come? Our crystal ball is practically fit to burst with all the massive movies due for release in two years' time. Coconut Whipped Cream « Nutty Kitchen We love our whipped cream in coffee, on berries for dessert, really on any of our primal desserts. But it’s nice to have an alternative to dairy and for our Paleo friends. Henry thought it would be good to have some cold coconut milk and stuck a can into the fridge for a couple of hours. When he opened it he noticed that it had gotten very thick on top, so he scooped it out and noticed that it had separated from the coconut water. So since then we’ve been enjoying our morning cup of coffee with a spoon full. So here are a couple of pictures for you – try it, it is so incredibly easy and completely gluten and dairy-free. Step 1: Take a “full fat” can of Organic Coconut Milk and place it in the fridge for some time or best over night Refrigerated Coconut Milk being scooped out by Henry Step 2: Make sure that you scoop out all the thickened coconut cream, and that the water is left over. Coconut Water Step 4: Enjoy every bite, anyway you like! Like this: Like Loading...

Pasta with Zucchini, Tomatoes and Creamy Lemon-Yogurt Sauce Someday, science will catch up with my summertime needs and create a popsicle that sustains life. Until then, I’m looking for every shortcut that will keep me from having to turn on the stove or oven any more than absolutely necessary. Today, my shortcut was a big batch of Pasta with Zucchini, Tomatoes and Creamy Lemon-Yogurt Sauce. Yes, I had to turn on the stove, but only for about 15 minutes. No biggie. And in return, I made enough of this healthy, satisfying pasta to give me lunch for the next four days. The only time-consuming thing about this pasta is slicing the zucchini. That said, don’t get too anal about the slicing. As for the lemon-yogurt sauce, I know what you’re thinking: can’t I just use lemon-flavored yogurt? No, because lemon-flavored yogurts are sweetened, and you don’t want your pasta sauce to taste like pie filling. The sauce itself is just a quick blend of plain Greek yogurt, Parmesan, lemon zest, salt and pepper. I guess the all-popsicle diet can wait.

Watermelon-Coconut-Lime Popsicles My kids looovvveee popsicles and at some point during the day someone always has a Big Stick or a red-white-and-blue Rocket Pop in hand. While I can be happy with a cherry-pineapple flavored Big Stick, I prefer more of a tropical taste when it comes to popsicles. Last week I was working away at my desk and I literally jumped up to make these. The idea of watermelon, coconut and lime came over me like a wave. Have you made popsicles at home? I think the coconut cream I use in this recipe gives this a more “adult” taste. Print Recipe Ingredients 3-1/2 cups cubed watermelon1/2 cup coconut cream zest and juice of one lime1 teaspoon chopped mint Directions Add all ingredients to a blender and puree. I’m imagining enjoying these by a pool somewhere in the Caribbean…..I wish. Three Years Ago: Classic Blueberry Pie
