FM-2030FM-2030 (October 15, 1930, Brussels – July 8, 2000, New York) was an author, teacher, transhumanist philosopher, futurist and consultant. FM-2030 was born Fereidoun M. Esfandiary (Persian: فریدون اسفندیاری). He became notable as a transhumanist with the book Are You a Transhuman?Tim Mazzarol – The ConversationTim Mazzarol is a Winthrop Professor in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Marketing and Strategy at the University of Western Australia and an affiliate Professor with the Burgundy School of Business, Groupe ESC Dijon, Bourgogne, France. He is also the Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Management and Innovation (CEMI), an independent initiative designed to enhance awareness of entrepreneurship, innovation and small business management. He has around 20 years of experience of working with small entrepreneurial firms as well as large corporations and government agencies. This has included strategic management, marketing and support to commercialisation. He is the author of several books on entrepreneurship, small business management and innovation. His research into has been published internationally.
Gods of Ancient Egypt: AtumAtum (also known as Tem or Temu) was the first and most important Ancient Egyptian god to be worshiped in Iunu (Heliopolis, Lower Egypt), although in later times Ra rose in importance in the city, and eclipsed him to some extent. He was the main deity of Per-Tem ("house of Atum") in Pithom in the eastern Delta. Although he was at his most popular in the Old Kingdom in Lower Egypt, he is often closely associated with the Pharaoh all over Egypt. During the New Kingdom, Atum and the Theban god Montu (Montju) are depicted with the king in the Temple of Amun at Karnak.
Work Systems Design & EvaluationWork systems design and evaluation addresses how to optimize the combined performance of human experts and the supporting information system. WSDE includes all aspects of human-machine integration: human with software, human with hardware, and human with human, as well as aspects of machine-machine interaction insofar as it impacts total human-system performance. Lunar Surface Systems The WSDE has participated in a series of Exploration Systems Mission Directorate (ESMD) Bluesky workshops over the past two years devoted to developing operations concepts and designs for a small pressurized lunar electric rover (LER). The goal of this meeting was to “visualize innovative LER displays and controls that handle information and activities in a connected manner.” Three brainstorming sessions focused on presenting the status of consumables, improving situation awareness, and controlling the LER.
