Le site Internet de la US National Film Preservation Founda tion (NFPF), diffuse depuis jeudi, à titre gracieux, durant deux mois, l'un des films de jeunesse d'Alfred Hitchcock, The White Shadow (L'ombre blanche ) retrouvé l'année dernière dans les archives cinématographiques de Nouvelle-Zélande. Seules les trois premières bobines avaient été retrouvées dans un amas de pellicules données aux archives dans les années 90. Cette oeuvre muette, qui date de 1923, avait été réalisée par le Britannique Graham Cutts, mais Alfred Hitchcock y avait travaillé en tant que scénariste, décorateur, monteur et assistant du réalisateur.
