Sea Salt Spray DIY

A blissful day of summer for me is playing on the beach with sunkissed cheeks and wind-swept beach hair. Unfortunately, like I told you here last week- I am a beach girl without a beach. What if I were to tell you that you can capture that care-free wavy hair without spending a lot of money on a fancy Sea Salt spray or spending a day on the beach…although, I would take beach time any day. I have used several sea salt products out there but noticed they can been costly and at times left my hair slightly too crunchy and dry. I decided to do a little research and experimented a little to come up with my perfect mixture for a sea salt spray. Here is what I used: 8 oz. of warm distilled water 1 teaspoon of cheap coconut conditioner 1 squirt of gel or hair smoothing cream 1 squirt of gloss dropsf 1 tablespoon of sea salt (the fine kind) 1/4 a teaspoon of alcohol (not necessary- mostly used as preservative) After gathering all the ingredients, I whisked together until everything was dissolved: xo Cristi

Musicovery Making Faces Halloween Edition: Pop Art What I Used: Face: Ben Nye Creme Color in White Dots: Ben Nye Creme Color in Red Tears: Ben Nye Creme Color in Blue, Cosmic Blue and White Eyeliner: MAC Blacktrack Eye lashes: Lancome Hypnose Drama Eyes: Blue Colored Contacts Lips: NARS Lipstick in Heat Wave I will start by warning anyone that completing this look is a lot like cleaning your bedroom: it looks worse before it looks good. I began by covering the entire face with Ben Nye Creme Color in White using a sponge applicator. Next, I applied Blacktrack liner in a dramatic cat eye. Next, apply a line with Blacktrack along the eye socket bone – this will intersect the lashes. Next, I drew in the brows over my natural brows and exaggerated the edges. Then I drew a black line from one of the brows, all the way down one side of the nose, to the top of the lip. For the tear, outline the shape you want in black first, then fill it in by layering various shades of blue and small touches of white for dimension. I made all the face dots last.

The Egg The Egg By: Andy Weir You were on your way home when you died. It was a car accident. And that’s when you met me. “What… what happened?” “You died,” I said, matter-of-factly. “There was a… a truck and it was skidding…” “Yup,” I said. “I… I died?” “Yup. You looked around. “More or less,” I said. “Are you god?” “Yup,” I replied. “My kids… my wife,” you said. “What about them?” “Will they be all right?” “That’s what I like to see,” I said. You looked at me with fascination. “Don’t worry,” I said. “Oh,” you said. “Neither,” I said. “Ah,” you said. “All religions are right in their own way,” I said. You followed along as we strode through the void. “Nowhere in particular,” I said. “So what’s the point, then?” “Not so!” I stopped walking and took you by the shoulders. “You’ve been in a human for the last 48 years, so you haven’t stretched out yet and felt the rest of your immense consciousness. “How many times have I been reincarnated, then?” “Oh lots. “Wait, what?” “Well, I guess technically. “Sure.

50 Things Everyone Should Know How To Do | EvenCool Self-reliance is a vital key to living a healthy, productive life. To be self-reliant one must master a basic set of skills, more or less making them a jack of all trades. Contrary to what you may have learned in school, a jack of all trades is far more equipped to deal with life than a specialized master of only one. While not totally comprehensive, here is a list of 50 things everyone should know how to do. Backlit Canvas Art Do you have one project that you've been longing to do, but just haven't found the time yet? This is it for me. I call it my Backlit Canvas Art and the inspiration piece has been pinned in my "Crafts to try" Pinterest board for ages. My "pin"speration is an artist's piece made from metal that has hand cut flowers all over it. Its backlit by Christmas lights, and I pretty much love it! So I decided to give it a go and create my version. There are two main differences between the two: 1. 2. The idea of the canvas is that during the day (ie. with the Christmas light off) you have a beautiful sculpture while at night (you guessed it, with the Christmas lights on!) How about a tutorial? Supply list Mounted canvas (mine is 10"x10") cardstock to fit on your canvas (mine is 12"x12") stamps ink pad X-acto knife light source* *I wasn't sure if I wanted to use a single bulb or Christmas lights so that is why both are in the above picture. I decided to go with the same flower theme as my inspiration piece.

The Bitterroot Footage My name is Chad. I'm a student at a university in New York. I just moved to a studio apartment and needed some furniture. I found a guy on Craigslist that wanted to desperately get rid of his things at super cheap prices so I went to check it out. He sold things in bulk to get rid of as much things as possible. I bought a small table and it came with a bunch of other random things. An old wooden box caught my attention. The film was pretty damaged so I just kept it on my bookshelf as decoration, but I couldn't get the images of the pictures out of my head. With help from Dario, we got an old 8mm projector in good working condition on Ebay. I asked my friend to help me make this website so I can share my findings.
