Downloadable Computer Repair CDs One of our Technibble forum members, PcTek9, and a handful of other Technibble members have compiled a large list of CDs for various computer repair tasks. In this list, the following types of CD are available for download: Antivirus Boot CDs, Recovery Disks, Hardware Diagnostic Boot CDs, Network Testing/Monitoring, Data Recovery Boot CDs and Special Purpose CDs. Some of these are free to download, some are not. Also, some of these CD’s may set off an antivirus false positive due to their virus removal, password cracking, system file changing nature. Some CDs have been purposely left out of this list as they contain illegal software. Creating Multiboot CDs Many people have expressed an interest in creating a multi-boot CD or USB stick. Montaje de red casera y ono para vagos :-) Si habéis leído mi blog al completo, pues habréis visto una receta muy larga de como montar una red casera en casa con un módem cable y dos ordenadores. Todo hecho desde una terminal o xterm, pues buscando por hay como siempre, leí en uno de mis búsquedas con google algunos comentarios de personas que se quejaban de la dificultad de ciertas cosas en linux, pero otras les respondían con programas para esta ú otra cosa, entonces vi claramente como montar mi red con solo 5 cliks, :-) si hombre son mas pero no te hago pasar por la consola que quizás es lo que te da yuyu :-) Vamos allá que esto es mas fácil de lo que parece: 1º Doy por hecho que tienes montado tu módem cable por tarjeta de red funcionando perfectamente, autoconfigurada con dhcp, teniendo ip publica asignada por tu ISP(compañía que te da Internet)y haz conectado una segunda tarjeta de red que esta detectada por Ubuntu pero no esta configurada. 2ºVamos a configurar la segunda tarjeta : ip estática, dirección ip 192.168.0.2 y el 3
