How To Design a Lucky Life

How To Design a Lucky Life
I'm no extrovert and I apply most of these to my life already. being an extrovert is no requirement: generosity, humbleness, asking questions, getting to know your neighbors, never speaking negatively...none of these are "extrovert" activities. Sure it might help with asking questions, etc, but sometimes we gotta suck it up and do uncomfortable things. I clearly wasn't talking about the ones where extroversion isn't a requirement. I'm talking about things like "never eat alone". My point: I didn't say what I said because I refuse to "suck it up", I said it because instructions like those and "be social" are given as if it's not a difficult and stressful thing for a lot of people to do. I hear you. It's sad that saying how important you are can be more beneficial than actually being important.

Why Too Much Information Makes Decision Making Harder This is why I love being picky. If you have a set of very specific criteria up front, you can't be swayed. This usually comes with experience, but it's nice to have standards and expectations before you start shopping. Personal examples: 1. 2. Most consumer products are not this nice. We opted not to put Christmas lights on the house this year.

Assistants for Everyone - Fancy Hands As a member of Fancy Hands, you're always supported by a team of assistants, but with our Personal Touch feature, you can give the whole team one name. You can set up a custom email address so it appears you're always working with one assistant. This allows you to say in an email, for example, "I've cc'ed my assistant, George, who will schedule this meeting for us." This is less confusing for everyone instead of you saying, "I've cc'ed my awesome team of assistants at Fancy Hands." Once you set the Personal Touch feature up, all of our assistants will use that specific email address and name whenever reaching out to third parties on your behalf.

A Tasty Recipe: Stuffed French Toast Since Ree is somewhere in D.C. right now with her gushing armpits (sorry for that visual on a cooking blog), we’ve invited a very special guest to host the Tasty Recipe post this week. Quite coincidentally, this lovely lady was also our very first member featured here in the Tasty Kitchen blog. She’s fabulous in so many ways, and we’re so glad to have her here. And boy, has she picked a great recipe to share with us today. Take it away, Alice! French toast is one of my most favorite foods to eat any time of the day. Here’s a list of everything you need: a loaf of French or Italian bread, eggs, milk, butter, cream cheese, cinnamon, and jam or fresh fruit (if you’re like me, you’ll use both). Before you can invite me over for breakfast, you’ll need to know how to make this. I decided to go with strawberries for the filling. Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut slices in each one. Next, macerate the strawberries, which is fancy way of saying add a little sugar and mix it in.

Atheist Convert: Jennifer Fulwiler By simply living my life, I felt like I was living a lie. I acknowledged the truth that life was meaningless, and yet I kept acting as if my own life had meaning, as if all the hope and love and joy I'd experienced was something real, something more than a mirage produced by the chemicals in my brain. Suicide had crossed my mind -- not because I was depressed in the common sense of the word, simply because it seemed like it was nothing more than speeding up the inevitable. Not knowing what else to do, I followed the well-worn path of people who are trying to run from something that haunts them: I worked too much. A year after I graduated from college, I met a guy at work named Joe. We were a perfect couple. It didn't cause any problems between us, though, since we had the same basic moral code, he didn't practice this bizarre faith of his in any noticeable way, and, mainly, I did not want to think about it. Motherhood caught me completely off guard. For weeks, I hardly got out of bed.
