McCord Museum, Montreal History Museum Valldemossa Valldemossa Valldemossa (in Mallorquin) or Valldemosa (in Spanish) is a village and municipality on the island of Majorca, part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. Valldemossa is famous for one landmark: the Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa, built at the beginning of the 14th century, when the mystic and philosopher Ramon Llull lived in this area of Majorca. In the 1830s the Spanish government confiscated monasteries, and the historic estate was sold to private owners, who have since hosted some prominent guests. These have included the Polish composer Frédéric Chopin and his lover the pioneering French writer George Sand (who wrote a notable account of A Winter in Majorca, describing their 1838–39 visit and praising the island's natural beauty but criticizing what she perceived as the prejudice and vices of the natives). Darío has had a great and lasting influence on twentieth-century Spanish literature and journalism. He has been praised as the "Prince of Castilian Letters" and undisputed father of the modernismo literary movement.[1] Darío is revered as Nicaragua's greatest diplomat and a leading voice of Central and South America. L'émergence de ce qui convient d'appeler le web 2.0 laisse une place à l'influence nouvelle d'une sixième vague: celle des "opérateurs de symboles". On est en droit de dire que la mouvance en cours sur le web laisse émerger une culture qui semble redéfinir l'utilisation du réseau, d'où l'appellation web 2.0. Mais on pourrait tout aussi bien écrire Internet 6.0 puisqu'Internet n'a pas débuté avec l'avènement du web.
