Cuded Illustrator's Lounge IBM's Smarter Planet Illustrations are Clever! (11 total) As part of their Smarter Planet campaign, which launched last year, IBM teamed up with illustrator Noma Bar for a very clever set of posters. Just what does IBM mean by a smarter planet? "When we talk about a smarter planet, you can say that it has two dimensions. One is to be more efficient, be less destructive, to connect different aspects of life which do affect each other in more conscience and deliberate and intelligent ways. But the other is also to generate fundamentally new insights, new activity, new forms of social relations. Noma Bar's illustrations are the perfect way to visualize IBM's hope for a better tomorrow. Watch this video for more information. See more of Bar's brilliant work, here.

fonts, typefaces and all things typographical — I love Typography (ILT) Urbamedia | Regards croisés sur la ville Illustration projects featured by Carole Guevin The Cosmonaut The Cosmonaut by Marco Goran Romano What an eloquent example of what it means to live / love / work in the virtuality of what is called the Internet. In the past 17 years, I have been exploring a multi-dimensional world wide web of networks / hubs / lists / friends that each have embedded some of my memories / moments / images.. Still awed every day at all there is to learn / discover. Definitely getting the iPhone case. On a side note – really digging his Chianti Pride hand-drawn font. Kristy Modarelli The Aldas Project: 366 Drawings for Good, is a year-long project by artist, Kristy Modarelli, that began on January 1, 2012. The idea for this project is two-fold – a personal challenge to create an original drawing every day, for a year; and to raise money for three of Kristy’s favorite non-profit organizations. Which shows a) how important to pursue personal projects / challenges b) doing good for non-profits. MMA / tartan Jack Hughes Oh just that close to perfect. Check him out.

ISO50 Blog – The Blog of Scott Hansen (Tycho / ISO50) » The blog of Scott Hansen (aka ISO50 / Tycho) Roman Muradov View high resolution This was made for Facegasm/CALA which I won’t be attending in person due to an immense fatigue that has been ruining my life & work for the last year or so, particularly recently. Probably this old thing that I’ve been neglecting for a decade. I will however have a little presentation on form and structure in several of my YZ5 strips. Also, here’s a top-ten I’m in (I imagine the only one this year (buzzfeed’s most confusing funnies of?)) (Source: bluebed.net)
