Google komt met een App Store voor Google Apps App Stores zijn vandaag de dag erg populair. Volgens The Wall Street Journal staat Google op het punt een App Store te lanceren voor bedrijven met een focus op het maken van software voor Google Apps. Volgens het rapport is Google van plan om software te gaan verkopen gebouwd door derde partijen om de hoeveelheid Google Apps (oa. Gmail, Docs, Calendar, Sites, GTalk) te vergroten. "These outside apps could be for adding more security, enhancing word-processing features, or porting information into Google Apps." De Google App Store zal hetzelfde werken als Apple's iPhone App Store werkt. Vooralsnog staat het gepland voor maart, maar er zal waarschijnlijk nog wel een officiele blogpost van Google verschijnen.
