La Biennale de Venise, un événement artistique majeur - Vivre Venise La Biennale de Venise est une organisation italienne qui organise chaque année des événements artistiques : art contemporain, musique, danse, architecture et cinéma. Par extension on appelle communément Biennale de Venise, l’Exposition internationale d’Art Contemporain et l’Exposition internationale d’Architecture qui ont lieu en alternance tous les deux ans. Ces expositions de renommées mondiales ont lieu dans les Giardini, les jardins publics du quartier du Castello mais aussi dans l’Arsenal et dans d’autres Palais de l’île. Les Pavillons de la Biennale de Venise Le Pavillon Central, immense hall d’exposition, construit pour la première édition fut à de nombreuses reprises agrandi alors que la Biennale gagnait en importance. It is being curated by Alexandria Contemporary Arts Forum, Chamber of Public Secrets and Tranzit.org. From 9 October 2010 to 9 January 2011, in dialogue with Northern Africa, Manifesta 8 will explore the idea of Europe in the 21st century, focussing on the boundaries of the continent, and thus strengthening its international and intercontinental character. More specifically, the aim of Manifesta 8 will be to engage with Europe's present-day frontiers and its interrelation with the Maghreb region. The South of Spain, specifically Al-Andalus, has been a historical blend of Islamic, Judaic and Christian cultural influences co-existing together.
