Clean Up Your Mess - A Guide to Visual Design for Everyone 50 Tips for Working with Unity (Best Practices) » devmag.org.za About these tips (Edit: August 2016. I have revised these tips. You can find the new list here.) These tips are not all applicable to every project. They are based on my experience with projects with small teams from 3 to 20 people. There’s is a price for structure, re-usability, clarity, and so on — team size and project size determine whether that price should be paid. Many tips are a matter of taste (there may be rivalling but equally good techniques for any tip listed here). Some tips may fly in the face of conventional Unity development. Process 1. 2. 3. 4. It makes it unnecessary to re-setup each scene. It makes loading much faster (if most objects are shared between scenes). It makes it easier to merge scenes (even with Unity’s new text-based scenes there is so much data in there that merging is often impractical in any case). It makes it easier to keep track of data across levels. You can still use Unity as a level editor (although you need not). 5. Scene Organisation 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Art

List of animated feature-length films This list of animated feature films compiles animated feature films from around the world and is organized alphabetically under the year of release (the year the completed film was first released to the public). Theatrical releases as well as made-for-TV (TV) and direct-to-video (V) movies of all types of animation are included. Currently the list doesn't recognize one release form from another. In order to qualify for this list, films must be "over 40 minutes long and have animation in at least 75% of their running time, or have at least 40 minutes of animation in total." This list chooses to use the AFI, AMPAS and BFI definitions of a feature film. For marionette films like Team America: World Police, or films featuring non-animated puppets, see Films featuring puppetry. Due to the budget restraints or in a lot of cases the complete lack of a budget a lot of young indie game developer can't afford to hire an artist or buy art assets. With the help of free software like gimp, inkscape, truespace, daz studio and vue pioneer (just to mention a few) combined with a basic understanding of art creation pretty much anyone can create impressive and professional looking results. I will try to start with some basic ideas and exercises to improve this kind of understanding. Let me start by clarifying some common believes when it comes to creating game at. No, you don't! List of compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart This is a selective list of the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, listed by genre. The Köchel catalogue contains a complete, chronologically ordered, list. How Mozart's compositions are listed[edit] Symphonies[edit] Mozart's symphonic production covers a 24 year interval, from 1764 to 1788. Childhood symphonies (1764–1771)[edit] These are the numbered symphonies from Mozart's early childhood. There are also several "unnumbered" symphonies from this time period. Salzburg-era symphonies (1771–1777)[edit] These symphonies are sometimes subcategorized as "Early" (1771–1773) and "Late" (1773–1777), and sometimes subcategorized as "Germanic" (with minuet) or "Italian" (without minuet). Although not counted as "symphonies" the three Divertimenti K. 136–138, in 3-movement Italian overture style, are sometimes indicated as "Salzburg Symphonies" too. There are also several "unnumbered" symphonies from this time period that make use of music from Mozart's operas from the same time period.
