Pièce mystérieuse dont on a du mal à comprendre le fonctionnement. Pourquoi cette forme ? Comment la coudre ? Heureusement, T&N est là, et grâce à notre tuto d’aujourd’hui les manches n’auront plus de secrets pour vous ! 1 – Comprendre l’ennemi Une manche est basiquement un tube servant à couvrir vos bras. Le haut de la manche est donc formé de deux “S” symétriques (ou pas, mais nous traiterons ici uniquement des manches symétriques). Il existe plusieurs manières de monter des manches. 1) Faire correspondre le haut de la manche avec l’emmanchure (non cousue sur le côté). 2 – Les différents types de manches La manche simple Cette manche fonctionne très bien pour les vêtements décontractés : blouses, t-shirts… Elle laisse une grande liberté de mouvement au bras et est très confortable. I Made My Own Dress Form! Here she is! My paper-tape double! Woohoo! Wow, I’m so happy this worked! I researched this method of making a dress form on the internet quite a lot, and I found most of the information I found glossed over some of the aspects I wanted to know about. It was quite fun to make (well, mainly after I’d gotten out of my papery prison- that bit wasn’t so fun)- it sort of took me back to school days where you’d get to make papier mache projects! Well, shall we get started? Here’s what you will need: -paper tape* -scissors -garbage bag or thin t-shirt you don't mind cutting up -masking/duct tape -newspapers/fabric scraps/stuffing -jandals- Americans call these flip flops? -sponge -thick cardboard -blow drier (optional) -an awesome husband or helper *Most of the information was very vague about the kind of tape- I finally found the right stuff and what it is called. Some ideas if you want to make a stand: -sturdy wooden coathanger, plus one of the following options: -an op shop (thrift store) standing lamp

Un joli tablier habillé et féminin à souhait pour cuire les macarons, n'est-ce pas miss Cecile ! Cette petite ingénue gourmande m'envoit des photos de milliers de macarons colorés pour me tenter. Il y a deux petites fenêtres (avec transparent pour protéger) pour y glisser des photos, et 3 emplacements pour des cartes. And yes, it's even lined! How to Make a Lined Zipper Pouch – without a pattern! This may sound strange, but I prefer to start with the zipper .. meaning, the size of your zipper should determine the size (or atleast WIDTH) of your pouch. I rarely measure, I just make sure that my fabric is narrower than my zipper - just like what you see here. Choose your lining fabric, and cut two more shapes the same size. Now here's where you want to pay attention - we're going to be layering, and the order is very important. See how the zipper pull is on the bottom not the top! When you open it up, it should look like this.

When you don’t need to carry everything with you, replace your purse with a simple zipper clutch and store your keys, cards and cash! When you are done, you can use this same method to create a zipper pouch in various sizes based on your needs. Materials – 2 fat quarters (18”x22”) of cotton quilting fabric – 9″ zipper – Sewing machine with zipper foot – Optional: medium-weight fusible interfacing Want to print these instructions for later? Finished Size 9-1/2″ long x 6-1/2″ tall All seam allowances are 1/4″ unless otherwise noted. Cutting: From outer fabric, cut (2) rectangles 10″ x 7″ and (2) zipper tabs tabs 1-1/2” x 3”. From lining fabric, cut (2) rectangles 10″ x 7″. Assembly: Fold zipper tabs in half widthwise, to make a square shape. Position other folded zipper tab so fold just overlaps edge of zipper pull. Now, it’s time to attach the lining!
