I know bird tattoos are currently super trendy, but I love them anyway! As far as I'm concerned, I'm not ready for a tattoo (I have a VERY low tolerance to pain), so as an alternative, I opted for temporary transfer tattoos! Yes, just like those we found as inserts in bubble gums when we were kids. You need : 1. 2. 3. 1. 2. 3. It can last up to 7 days, but mine started cracking after 4 days, so I dissolved it with baby oil. I felt like a little girl, and it was super fun!

DIY Washi Tape Laptop Keyboard Look whose little old MacBook got a facelift this weekend! I spotted this idea from minifanfan on Making It Lovely last week and just had to give it my own spin. I purchased my Japanese washi tape from Le Box Boutique on Etsy. There are hundreds of washi tape sellers but I chose Le Box because they allow you to purchase tape by the foot rather than having to purchase the entire roll. They were very easy to interact with and I would definitely recommend them if you’re looking to purchase washi tape! Free Tattoo Art Designs for Women Female tattoos can range in any direction; they range from cute and fun, to beautiful and erotic, and will add a touch of individual personality to any woman. These day's most female tattoos are considered extremely sexy and attractive. Tattooing for women has become mainstream and socially acceptable in almost every setting, even in the work place. I like to show hints of my shoulder and foot tattoos when I wear sexy sun dresses and sandals in the office. I have even heard that in some tattoo parlors the ratio of females getting tattoos can be as high as 70 percent women.

Happy Valentines Day! This year I made this adorable gift for my boyfriend. On a deck of cards, I thought of 52 reasons why I love him soo much (I could have easily come up with 1000 <3) I typed them out and cut them up. Some cards I glued the white paper on and cut out patterned hearts. Five common typography mistakes Typography is one of the cornerstones of design. It can be beautiful, arresting, game-changing and the product of obsession. It can also go more wrong than a dog in a washing machine. So, here are five common typography mistakes and how to avoid them… Seriously. Crave / Create: Bottle (w)rap I drink a lot of wine. And end up with a lot of empty wine bottles that are oh so pretty, it breaks my heart to have to junk them with the raddi- walla. I've been trying to find all sorts of utility excuses to hang on to them - wate bottles, plant holders and what have you.

{DIY} {nifty thrifty things} creating nifty, thrifty and creative things {20 diy easter egg ideas} April 15, 2014 Reasons to Get a Tattoo (and Reasons Not To) I have lots of tattoos. Something like 30 at last count, if memory serves. As tattoos have grown in popularity and social acceptance, it’s very likely that your average 20-something has one or more tattoos. And while I’m certainly not an expert on the art of tattooing, I’ve got a good deal of experience with tattoos (mostly because I get lots of people who want to show theirs to me) and can enumerate fairly confidently what are good reasons for getting a tattoo. I can also tell you what are not good reasons People’s tastes in tattoo design has always fascinated me.

V and Co how to: jersey knit bracelet - StumbleUpon i don't know what it is about this time of year that makes me just want to have my bare feet in the sand, be watching the sun setting into the ocean, and breathing in the warm salty air of the beach...as i get older, more and more i find myself missing that place i used to go to almost every.single.day. as a teen. (my skin doesn't miss it. as a matter of fact, i now wish i listened more and DID put SPF on my face...hindsight is 20/20). my mom calls me from her walk on the beach almost every morning...*sigh*yeah, i get a little homesick around this time of the year. heck on my pinterest my "dreaming of summer" has the most pictures in it. ah yes. i miss my ocean. case in point. this bracelet, brought a flood of memories, not because i used to have one like it but because i can totally see me wearing it by the beach, not caring that it's gotten salty and wet, because i can totally make another one in like less than 5 minutes flat when i get home. *sigh* okay...

30 of The Best Alternatives to Helvetica Helvetica is a tried and true typeface. It’s a testament to Swiss design culture, with its clarity, flexibility and outright perfection. This famous typeface is loved for countless reasons, including its ability to take on any feeling, emotion or imagery, which it can do simply because it has no personality of its own. Helvetica deserves our utmost respect, but there’s a problem with Helvetica that needs calling out: too many designers are permanently stuck on it, and that’s a disservice to every other sans-serif typeface out there.
