In-between waiting for Bioshock Infinite and slaying the last few dragons in Skyrim, there doesn’t seem to be much coming out in the way of video games. And then I spotted Black Gold Online. As you can see, there are strong Steampunk elements in the graphics. The game sounds intriguing; two rival factions competing, technologists versus Nature Lovers. While it may not pass Roger Ebert’s muster, anyone who has played a video game since the dawn of Pong will be hard-pressed not to call Exploding Rabbit‘s Jay Pavlina’s flash game Super Mario Bros. Crossover a work of art. The game allows the player to play the entirety of the classic Super Mario Bros., but do so using some of the greatest characters in video game history as well as the mustachioed plumber. The thing that’s amazing about SMBC is that it’s not just a simple sprite-switch. Pavlina has correctly anticipated that half of the fun here is exploration with each character. How To Install & Play tutorial - DEAD CRY Mod for Far Cry 3
Hi! Thank you for downloading the Dead Cry Open Beta! Welcome to this quick guide on how to install and run this mod. WARNING: This mod is NOT compatible with any other mod, like the ones created by Razor and Ziggy. Go to your Far Cry 3 installation directory and open "data_win32", which will likely be in the following location: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Far Cry3\data_win32" Or in the case of Steam: "C:\Program files\Steam\Steamapps\common\Far Cry 3\data_win32" BACKUP the original "common" and "patch" files. REPLACE the "common.dat" and "common.fat" files with the ones from this download. Next up, we will install the levels and custom XML file. Go to your "Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3" folder. BACKUP and REPLACE the original "GamerProfileIGE.xml" file with the one from this download. PLACE the "LEVELNAME.fc3map" levels in the "Documents\My Games\Far Cry 3\user maps" directory. That's it! One more thing though. Launch \Far Cry 3\bin\FC3Editor.exe and load one of the levels.
